The tickets say no cameras/video/recording allowed, but doesn't Pearl Jam make an exception to this? We all had cameras last tour.

    nope, they never have.

They SHOULD, IMO, since there is no stopping it.

Audio is fine...video is not fine.

Cameras were not allowed at The Astoria gig, we all had to hand them in at the door. I'm guessing they won't be allowed at Shepherd's Bush either as it will be a similar type of gig (smal club show before the release of the new album)

can't imagine you'd ever have a problem at a PJ show, unless you were walking in with oversized bags with professional type stuff falling out of them. NO issues for the average fan.

Have you ever used the Canon G10? It does quite spectacularly under low-light situations (though not as well as the G9), and gives you manual shutter speed, ISO, aperture, and exposure compensation abilities - it really is the Cadillac of point-and-shoots, though it's barely pocketable (very chunky). It also shoots in RAW, and is nearly full-frame.

My friend want to bring her analouge HOLGA camera. You think they are allowed? To my knowledge they are not professional, but maybe you can change lenses...

No, I haven't, man. I'm more of a Nikon guy but I don't hate Canon. It runs for about $400-500, though so I personally would choose the D40 over the G10 because it's really easy to use and the kit lens is really great. Since we're on the topic, I have used the EOS Rebel XSi. It was fun.

Stop Taking Pictures With Your Cell Phones

You people spend $100 to go to a concert so that you can watch the entire event on a 3-inch by 2-inch, green-lit, night-vision screen. Rather than enjoying the music, you spend your time trying to determine if that speck that looks like a glow-in-the-dark amoeba swimming around in a cloudy bucket of piss is Bono or the Edge.

We're going to take a wild guess and say that you are the same people, who as parents, will spend your entire family vacations taking pictures rather than taking a vacation. You'll be too busy making your kids look like they're enjoying themselves when you say "cheese" to ever enjoy your kids.

All of that is fine and good. We don't mind that your children will grow to hate you. If it weren't for parents like you, a lot of great angry rock music would never have existed. But once you start ruining the very concerts you helped create, we draw the line.
