Pearl jam has quite the following after all these years...kind of like the Dead or even the parrot heads..

    until PJ starts playing 200+ shows are year, it is not a fair comparison.

    the dead didn't do 200+ shows a year lol i checked 2 years in 1973 they did 76 shows in 1990 they did 74 shows. i love both bands, saw over 60 dead shows.PJ is closing in

    PJ can't compare to the Dead unless they strictly tour, and I mean tour many shows, every year. Otherwise, no comparison. The Dead would also never partner with a corporate sponsor for one of their records or play private corporate gigs. :roll:

    I prefer PJ, but their touring habits shouldn't even be mentioned with a band like GD.
