The things we all forget.....over and over

I've been in the 10 C since '95. Im now a 30 old who still loves his PJ. I never write anything on this board (usually just read what everyone else writes b/c I like the tour updates/rumours). Didnt even join the pit til 2006, but felt the need to write a lil bit about how us fans, are not that "abused". Jesus, trust me, I've been shut out of so many pre-sales it's ridiculous. We all know the Refersh buttun, routine, then "BUY" shows up but doesn't work. It sucks. Happened to me numerous times. Bottom line, it sucks getting shut out, but it happens to most of us at some point. But, cmon, we still have the best band in the world putting out new music and playing shows. We get a bit greedy and forget that sometimes. Reason being, b/c they have spoiled us. A lot of very talented bands mail it in at their shows. PJ never mails it in. I think we're all lucky motherfuckers actually.

    Ditto...I'm a 41 y/o fan and have been since 1994. Let me tell you...the shows I've not been able to get tickets to because of "newbies" but I can't bitch. Look back to '94 and what was going on (the Seattle scene) and I doubt many of us then thought we'd be getting what we do today in '09. I consider myself lucky to be a PJ fan - not many others get what we get so damn much of.

    Best 10C tickets for me among many good tickets over the years - FL1 / Row AA / Seats 4 & 5 in Reading, PA for the America Coming Together show on October 1, 2004. What a great night.

    Oh don't get me wrong...I'm super pissed about not getting Philly tickets this time. :evil:

    Agreed.... How much better could it be, the best band in the/our world, but also give us the best band/fan experience. The others don't know what they're are missing out on.. It's a rush every time they come to town. The loyalty/fanaticism is unbelievable, I actually can't believe it.. Are we like that because of the band, or are the band who they are because of what we are like.. I hope it's a bit of both

    I agree with that fact that we are lucky to have a great band to listen to who still makes music and tours. However, why are we paying club dues if the server is going to crash when tickets are on sale? Just saying...

    Sure we get the Xmas single, but again, those songs we can always find online. So what are we really paying for? Again, just saying...
