So how far back on the floor do you think 10C seats will go at the Spectrum? I have a member number thats kinda in the middle, 189***. Sometimes I end up way back on the floor (more than 20 rows in a few instances in 03). I say the seats on the side are much better...what have you guys experienced that have gone to shows in the last couple years? Do they still just go all the way back on the floor , then to the sides for seniority? I say after 15 or so rows they should start going up the sides. Just my opinion.

What have you guys seen lately?

    In 2003, with 210xxx I was 106 Row 4. My friend with 194xxx was in 226, I think row 8.

FWIW, my number is not much lower than yours. I was in the second row in the second section of the floor for an MSG show last year.

My experience has been if you don't get floor then it's usually the first two sections on the side like 225,226, 215,216.

Agreed, and I'm sure you'd all agree with me with I say while it will be great to be in the building, giving ten clubbers seats that are more than 20-25 rows back on the floor isn't exactly doing them any favors. Most people would much rather be way up high than 35 rows back on the floor, given that you can actually see something. Again not a complaint, just going by the idea that club members supposedly get treatment to the "best" seats, by which the far floor seats obviously do not fit into that category.
  • i would much rather the sides...or hell even behind the stage over 20 rows back on the floor.

if you aren't in the first 12-15 rows (unless an amphitheater or inside isle) you can't see shit. especially when you get the unusually tall guy in front of you that keeps moving back and forth to talk to his friend the whole show so ya can't even get a strategic placement to see. i think i have a little PTSD over that experience.

I'm right around there too with 192XXX and I've been all over the place for every show I've ever had 10C for. For MSG last year, middle of the middle floor section on the right side...and for ampitheater shows I was usually far to the side but only 20-25 rows back typically. There hasn't been any pattern or consistency to it in probably my dozen or so times having gotten lucky with 10C seats, but none have been bad and all have been better than I think I could have planned on from a regular on-sale (which is why I get so pissed off when I don't get 10C seats, like for the show that this thread is about...damnit).

Ok, so it seems that put people on the sides before the WAY back. I guess we'll see.

So, my number is 430xxx, fair to say I will be dangling from the ceiling in a lawn chair, right? :D

My number is in the 308xxx and time after time I end up in the 30th row on the floor, which is not great. I find it easier to buy them when they go on sale to the general public. At least you feel like you have a little more control and don't have to stress out about ending up on the back floor. I use my TC membership for amphitheaters but for arena shows I go general sale or ticket service. Not knowing until the day of the show is almost as stressful as trying to find the buy button!

I actually prefer the floor over the side. But I'm also 6-3 so I have no problem seeing over people. :D

Not trying to be critical but count your blessings! To get that many 10 tickets, particularly MSG is great. Many of us been kicking it here on and off forever and over the last 8 years have not scored once for 10 seats through our memberships. Fortunately there are usually good people out there who share the wealth and help us out.

    uh oh. I'm 5'1!

So, maybe the lawn chair with balloons attached might be an improvement?

Don't worry, I know I'm lucky...but I've also become a tad spoiled it seems! I'd say I've gotten 10C tickets 75% of the times I've tried. General rule is (which is obvious, I know) that major cities are the hardest and I've only managed them at MSG one time (out of 4 tries), if memory serves correct.

It's hard to say. It really will depend on how many 10C seats they reserved. Count ont hem being good seats, but not great.

the 435*** numbers is a sense might be better if they fill up the floor before going to the sides.
