we weren't able to get tickets... but we drove up and parked in the parking lot early, had a pretty close spot and sat on the roof and listened. I was 5, I remember going and loving it.... but honestly I never remembered all the songs or performers we heard. Was pretty cool to actually read up on all that my little ears had heard.

    Cool story man! My Dad brought me up on NY's early 70s albums (hence my username, profile pic and location!) I've still got an original 7" single of Heart of Gold/Sugar Mountain in perfect condition.

    I remember when I heard Ragged Glory for the first time when it came out I didn't realise it was the same guy at first! My dad had skipped the dodgy 80s albums so it took a while for me to make the link
