Is Backspacer the most "pop" Pearl Jam album?

The Fixer sounds very poppy, very melodic. There is nothing wrong with that, if this is the case that the album is poppy. There is no better thing than an excellently played and written pop song that gets lodged in your brain. Better pearl Jam than some inane Britney Spears or miley cyrus tune

Pearl Jam bootlegs:

Yes that´s true in some way. Rather than making vs so shiny as ten, they made it more dirty. I recall them saying they wanted it to sound as close as what they sound live.
But they were mainstream at the time. Sold almost a million copies the first week. Beyond mainstream, against their will, of course.
Very true.
I think that they were trying to write more poppy songs for a wider audience on Avocado. I think that it is about time that Pearl Jam gets the credit and respect they deserve and if they can garner a wider fan base in the process, then more power to them.
And we have heard two songs from the album. Seeing as how Get Some is poppy but still has an edge, I think we are in for a good album. Then again, that's just my opinion....
