The End of +Live+?

I know there are some +Live+ fans here. I recently read they're taking a two-year break where Ed Kowalczyk is focusing on a solo project and the rest of the band working with the lead singer of Candlebox.

Sounds like the end to me. Unfortunately, the 2000s have been a major disappointment for me with their music, but Mental Jewerly, Throwing Copper, Secret Samadhi and The Distance to Here will always bring about good memories.

Sadly, I don't care too much any more because they became irrelevant to me some time after their third album. But their first two albums for sure - brilliance.
  • They're currently playing shows, so this break isn't happening yet...

From what I have heard of the albums after that I have to agree with you, which is a shame because "The Distance to Here" was a great, underrated album.

I kind of lost what little interest I had in that band when I heard that song about the dolphin crying. :|

"Throwing Copper" is a perfect album, not a bad song on there. I was listening to the "Awake" best of earlier today actually, the guitars in Lakini's Juice kick so much ass it's unreal!

I saw them on "The Distance to Here" tour at the House of Blues and it was a great show.

Could there be more frontman "Ed" solo tours going on? :D

That's what makes where they have slipped to all the more sad.
