    nice thing is, you have up until 09.01 to preorder the CD and still get free shipping within the US. i'm all for that! so yea, i'll preorder.....august 31st. 8-)


    i do wonder if it is different packaging from what will be available retail, and/or which will be the better price?

    It says it is different packaging in the listing...a harder case, similar to Avocado.

    Official release is 9/20 (Sunday) and they try to get it to you by that date. We all know the post office is closed on Sundays. My bet is that 10c will, in many cases, get it delivered to you by that Friday or Saturday. 10c can't control the post office so there will be certain people with "exception" stories, but I've seen cases in the past where there was delivery on 10c preorders which arrived a day or two prior to the public release date. I just pre-ordered. It would be really cool to get the CD a day or 2 early. Maybe it won't happen. But there's a chance.

    aha, i see. i did read that they mentioned the hard cover just like the last album, missed the part that said it would be different from the retail version. last time tho, not only a different version, we also got the NYE disc. so i am merely curious if say the target version will get something else that the 10c pre-order will not.

    Has anyone outside the US (Looking towards Canadians) bought the Backspacer CD pre-order? I can't get past my shipping/billing info before I get an error message and it kicks me out...and then I try again...and that doesn't work either.

    I tried ditching the cookies but still get the same problem.

    Weird. I was able to get through for the LP, as well as the Fixer/Got Some single. Consider yourself lucky - won't be tempted to do it despite the 'international' shipping prices!

    I tried with an LP in my cart and it worked...just not the CD...Not sure why...

    furthermore, I'm not one of those people that just dropped $300 on tickets today so $13.99 is alright in my books....

    why the hell do i have to order all three separately and have to pay shipping for each?

    I have to pay 7.50 to get the album vinyl and 8.50 for the single??? wtf

    I can understand why the single must be ordered separately - it's the only thing of those three which will be shipping August 24th. However, one should be able to buy the CD and LP as a package without separate shipping costs. Waste of packaging, space, time, energy, etc.

    maybe they will email instructions for us to download the album...kind of like what they did with the Drop in the Park stuff from the Ten box set. That way we'd at least be able to listen to the new stuff while we wait for our albums to arrive via mail. That would be really cool

    Is anyone else having trouble ordering the CD?

    I ordered the LP and the 7"single no problem but it keeps telling me that an error has occured everytime I try to purchase the CD.

    I'm pretty sure most people who order it through 10C will get it before the release date. For Avocado, there were a lot of posts of people getting it before me and I still got it the day before the release date.
