    Good point about ticketmaster still being around...it would be way too expensive for other companies to build such a huge ticketing system.

    Got 2 for the Wiltern and 2 for the Palladium.....figured I'd take the safer route and go for the 2 biggest venues first.

    Didn't get any either. Will try again in 2 weeks for Terminal 5. There's one guy on ETS that got ALL 10 shows. I have no idea how he did it. I tried for 2 - got into the waiting room, then onto the calendar page but though I kept trying for tickets, it was like on pj where it was temporarily out of stock, and then at one point it was sold out. Win some, lose some. Can't complain - met Trent a little over a month ago, and am going to PJ in TO and Philly, and hopefully the NIN TO V-fest show.

    I got Echoplex tickets! Crazy. I got shutout of the 10/30 10C presale but somehow managed to get 2 tickets for the last NIN show EVER (or at least for a very long time).

    i got a pair for henry fonda and a pair for the wiltern.

    at least that's something. im just glad i wasnt trying for new york...sounds like that was a mess.

    it took about an hour to log in and get to the waiting area. i just left it there for 2 hours. once 5pm hit, it was real smooth. my friend was trying for echoplex and i went for the wiltern. when i found out she didnt get echoplex, i went back for fonda.

    i really dont believe that it was based on how long you were in the waiting room, because it took you back to the calendar...from there it was all speed.

    that said....i will trade a fonda and/or wiltern for an echoplex...lol

    I somehow managed to pull tix for the Echoplex!...

    That show is going to be truly fucking insane...and what a mess that ticket system was...

    Chicago I
    Chicago II
    Wiltern
    Echoplex

    and after scoring San Diego and Philly II this week, I feel very fortunate. still cant believe we got Echoplex.

    any LA natives have some advice on where to stay and what areas to avoid in LA?

    within a couple miles of Wiltern and Echoplex would be ideal.
