We had the Ryan Adams thread a couple of weeks ago...so I think it is time for one devoted to Whiskeytown. I really hope we get more from this band someday. Strangers Almanac is a classic and Pneumonia is right below it.

I'd say my favorite tunes are Houses On The Hill and Mirror, Mirror

Guess I'm going to have to check out Strangers Almanac. I really like Pneumonia! I love almost eveyrthing Ryan Adams does.

I'd actually be okay with Mandy showing up on a couple songs. You can hear her doing backup vocals on "Fix It" on his site here. Then again, I think she's always been the most talented of the late 90's pop queens. "In My Pocket" is one of the best pop songs I've ever heard.

I think I would be ok with her on the album as long as she leaves he songwriting to him. I heard some of her last album and it had kind of a blues feel to it. Nothing I'm going to run out and buy but I think together they could potentially put out a good album.

An evil part of me hopes they break up and ryan writes this killer album about it :twisted:
