STP July 2009 Tour

Anybody going to/gone to any shows on this tour? It started on July 1st in LA, I went and it was amazing. The tour wraps up in a couple of weeks, all of the dates are on stonetemplepilots.com. They finally have changed the set list, they have added Seven Caged Tigers, Army Ants, Piece of Pie, and Unglued to the set list.     Excellent! Yea I'm hoping he keeps his shit together on this tour. If the first show in Las Vegas is any indication of how he's doing, it seems the show should be a good one. I'm also hoping that they'll sneak in a new song...but I'm sure that's a long shot at this point.

    The tickets are fucking expensive. I was going to go to the show in Atlantic City, but one ticket was $143. No dice on that, I don't think I like any band that much.

    Probably because of your venue. I paid, with fees, about 67 a piece for the connecticut show -- the most expensive price.

    Holy shit, $143 for one ticket?! Yea that must be the venue. I ended up paying a total of $65 for my Columbia, MD ticket. That was after all the bullshit Ticketbastard charges; the face value of the ticket was only $54, which in my opinion ain't too bad at all. Sorry to hear that though.

    Seeing them July 11 at Bayfest in Ontario.

    Only 3 more days! It will be nice to see them again (saw them last summer in June '08).

    Should be a great show. Thinking about making a sign for "Heaven And Hot Rods" ...anyone know if they're known to play requests?

    I was disgusted by STP's performance last summer @ Edgefest in Toronto.

    Weiland was a stoned mess. He completely made an ass of himself and the band.

    I doubt I'll check them out on this tour. I just don't have enough faith in them anymore to be the band they once were.

    I hope for the sake of all of you that Scott can pull it toghther and keep off that godamn smack.

    doesn't sound worth the money to me.....to gamble if scott will have a good night or bad night.

    man, i just dont know if i want to chance it or not. Scott has never let me down at any of the shows ive seen him b4, but you never know with this guy.

    didnt go with the front row tix, wanted to go with some other people. but still really great seats. turned out to be a really good show. nothing stellar, but really really good.
    glad i went.

    so to all that have doubts, its worth a shot.

    scott showed up in b'more in january in an ice storm and i understand he was great. i was shocked he made it and did not cancel the show.

    his voice deteriorated throughout that show. i was far from impressed.

    with that said, i am heading to casino rama tomorrow to catch stp again. i love them too much to let my first live experience with them prevent me from taking in what could be an amazing show.

    I spend too much time on message boards scouring for shit haha, was able to get that and make a story out of it. Gist of it is new album hopefully in November/December, ANOTHER album already in the works, and Robert DeLeo let a fan hear some of a new song, and apparently it's very heavy sounding!

    STP in CIncy was pretty darn good. Solid, maybe even great but nothing spectacular, but very solid. Great sound, great show.

    I was supposed to go to that show! That damn ice storm/work caused me to miss it. I heard it was okay; nothing stellar, but nothing bad either.
