    That's why the whole thing is ridiculous! Why have an event like this open to the public and give out TWO tickets per winner? Of course the person who won is gonna scalp the second ticket. He was a circus in life and now he's a circus in death. You can't blame him now....Blame all the leetches he had around him.

    damn now i wish i had signed up... if i had won could i have sent a friend in LA to pick them up for me? its probably an ID required thing... thats a shit load of $... couldve paid my rent, gone on a few trips ive been saving up for, and give a sizeable amount to charity... hope everyone selling atleast donates something... obviously theyre free to do what they want with them and i blame the people buying... but a nice donation is what mike wouldve wanted

    that show was not even worth the free ticket IMO

    the musical performances were ok and brooke shields, magic, and smokey gave some nice eulogies but sharpton and the kings were clearly there with some irrelevant racial agendas... and how can those king kids be so shitty at public speaking given who their father was?? and queen latiffah reading a maya angelou poem? cliche... how did kobe know MJ again? or maybe he just stuck around after practice at the staples center :roll: ... guess its no worse than that politician that spoke

    jermaine singing "smile" was a nice sincere moment... there were definitely moments though were i would be rolling in my grave if it were my service... given what a circus his life was i wouldve thought it would be a smaller scale... i wonder what joe and kathrine stand to gain from all this... cant wait for the DVD release! :roll:

    oh and every person that brought up the allegation against him and all that - theyre just feeding the fire... theres no need to mention that at a memorial service... youre amongst friends

    On CNN.com they have a video feed for the MJ funeral thing. They have a Twitter feed that is right next to the video. Someone just typed "No one will ever touch the world the way that he did". I had to add next to her quote "unfortunately, literally". (too soon?)

    Yeah, they put it in her face. It was bullshit. No 11 year old girl should have to say something just because her family wants to get attention.

    It was the total fucking opposite of what Michael wanted for his kids. He wanted them OUT of the spotlight.

    I thought that was the only real part of the whole thing....I really hope those kids don't become some sort of sideshow.

    hes the problem and always has been... anytime parents live vicariously through their children the damage is unimaginable... i like how hes pushing for his sons martyrdom hanging out with sharpton, jackson, and the black panther crowd... the guy goes from molester to singin, dancin nelson mandela overnight :roll:

    I thought that too...maybe she really wanted to say something? I don't know. I have an 11 year old and she comes up with some pretty bold ideas. It is entirely possible that Paris came up with that idea...

    either way it sure was nice to hear Paris describe him as she did, and put a big two fingers up at the bullshit worldwide media intent on exposing him as a terrible father.

    Couldnt be more from the horses mouth. and I really think she was being extremely genuine, despite being pushed into it or not.

    i believe it was actually vitiligo... but even in that case the loss of pigment wouldve been spottier... he definitely did something to have such an even white color... i can see what herman is saying though... thats how i felt watching it yesterday... it was pretty much a big "not for you" to all his non-black fans... with the exception of the hilariously mutlicultural cast on "we are the world"... he was a hero to alot of people and charities, but the black community wasnt one of them... atleast not as exclusively as they made it seem

    The same guy, who had his home torn apart two times, in 93 and 2005. The only time the LAPD most likely did their job thoroughly.'

    The LAPD and investigators, found NO wierd videotapes, no incriminating photos. No incriminating diary entries or documents in MJ's possession. They didnt find any dirty websites on his computer. They didnt find anything.

    People always say he is a child molester. I am fine if you can present some damning evidence. I watched both trials intensely. I dont remember one shred of evidence beyond the original accusation.

    Its odd to me, that people would call MJ a child molestor without evidence. If there was evidence, thats one thing.

    But as I said, investigators brought this to trial, obviously high. Not one shred of evidence.

    ets also discuss the mother of the accuser. Who I remember well. The courtroom, the jurors, the attendees at the court dates, all found her to be a liar. Thats why Michael was aquitted. I remember hearing multiple times htat the court erupted in laughs after many of her statements on stand. She is a documented liar. George Lopez said she approached him as to wanting more money, after he gave her some. Jay Leno said the same.

    She had her son and others call MJ "daddy". Why would you call MJ "daddy"?

    She stated on stand that she was held captive on Neverland and that she worried her family would be kidnapped on a hot air balloon by Michael jackson.



    Lets also discuss the odd behavior of the DA. he said, when they arrested him "we finally got him". One of the oddest things a DA has ever said, and extremly unprofessional. Obviously they didnt have him.

    There wasnt a single piece of evidence presented at the 93 or 2005 trials that linked Michael to the crimes.

    Haven't commented on the whole MJ death/life issue, but figured I'd put my slant down on the issue - no arguments/agenda just my thoughts as someone who wasn't a huge fan but respected his music:

    The guy was a human being, granted a bit messed up due to his immense fame and upbringing in his formative years. Until you've lived a life like his, I honesty don't know how anyone could jude him or know the pain he lived with. I'm sure any person who went through some/all of the things he did wouldn't come out of it a well rounded person.

    The thing that hits me is him admitting to certain things (such as the kids sleeping in his room/bed at 'sleepovers'), now I could be wrong as I haven't had much to do with psychology for years, but that doesn't sound like the admition of a paedophile - rather a pretty screwed up person who hasn't really learnt the 'appropriate' behaviour norms society expects from a grown man.

    I feel bad for his kids (whether biologically his or not should not be an issue, he was their father). Hopefully they won't be dragged into a media circus as 'the offspring of the genius that was Michael Jackson'. Here's hoping they have a relatively 'normal' life and keep their own memories of their 'great Daddy' without those memories becoming questioned/skewed by propaganderous media/people.
