Bronson Arroyo covers PJ, AIC, STP, Temple/Dog, more

Having gone to half-price books in Cincinnati, I came across the CD "Covering The Bases" by Reds starting pitcher Bronson Arroyo. For a mere $4.98 I got a 12 track CD where Mr. Arroyo sings Black by PJ, Down In A Hole by AIC, Plush by STP, Hunger Strike by Temple Of The Dog, Everlong by Foo Fighters and 7 other songs including Fuel, Incubus, Goo Goo Dolls, The Verve Pipe, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Vertical Horizen and The Standells.
I'm not saying its fantastic by any means, but also it wasn't bad either. If you tend to like hearing covers of songs by artists you already like, then its an enjoyable CD. Bronson is pictured with a guitar on the cd cover, but isn't credited as playing on any of the songs
He is backed by a full band though who does play well on the songs. Worth checking out if you ever come across it in a discount bin!

That is correct. It was done the year after the World Series victory in 2004. He used to play around here locally, but I haven't heard of hom doing that recently.
