I wish I was going, but I'll be at school and don't have the funds to make it to California.

Should be a blast though, Phish + festival + Halloween will be fucking legendary, I imagine. Have fun!

Am I the only one who thinks the OP's avatar looks like he is shirtless on the toilet holding up concert tickets?

Hold your control button and press the + sign. CA is still there. It is a fake out, the festival is in Indio.

It's really gone now that they've eliminated some more states.

I wanted to go to this fest before PJ announced the Spectrum shows.

Because 'Waste' is a horrible song...

I know probably not popular among the Phish community, but the song is just beautiful!
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

Harry Hood and You Enjoy Myself are two of the more incredible pieces of music that I've ever heard. Sure, Trey can't write good lyrics very often but the composition is still incredible.

    snooooooze fest.

You'll see more people dancing there than at any Pearl Jam show. Could Pearl Jam even get people to go camp out in the desert for 3 days? 5,000 people left the Gorge in 2006 after the first night.

It is wild to me how many fans of such an open minded band, can be so close minded about live music.

sorry man. i have never liked Phish. on a musical level i respect them (being a musician myself) and i think its rad that they have such a heavy following. no need to throw judgements around though. 8-)

I am not into the Phish scene, but I must say that it sounds like a great overall experience for their fans.
