I'm gonna see them in about 7 hours time! They're in Hyde Park in London with Neil Young and Ben Harper. Fleet Foxes in the sun with a cold beer, sounds ok to me!

  • I saw them Thursday night at Wolverhampton Civic Hall in the UK, wow! had to leave early to get the train home but saw a good hour and was blown away.

The Harmonies are so powerful and they brilliantly recreate them in a live setting, definitely want to see them again, they are playing the Space 2 in Birmingham on 31st October, will be getting tickets as soon as they go on sale.

Their Glastonbury performance on TV last night was good but nothing comes near to them live, thoroughly recommended.

Just got back from hyde park and watched their set before Neil's. They were so dull and boring, maybe it becuase ben harper + r7 melted my face beforehand.

i am so fucking jealous of everyone here who has seen / will see them. when i picked up their album a few months back it didn't leave my turntable for about a month, and i listened to it just about evey day. i hadn't been that excited about discovering a new (to me) band in a LONG time - if they're ever near me, i'm there.

wish i cold go to the newport folk festival in august...

They're kind of weird. Like modern day beach boys.

Well I don't know who or what Lady Gaga is and I think I'm proud of that ;)

I love Fleet Foxes. Oliver James blew me away the first time I heard it. It's one of my wind down records. I'm not sure what they would be like live but I'd give it a shot if I have the chance.

Fleet Foxes are alright with me.
I love the harmonies and all but there is a part of me that wishes they'd rock a little harder.

I guess that's why I prefer Dr.Dog -they've been doing the harmony thing alot longer, and they aren't afraid to get a little bit dirty as well-

FF are the only band I don't care about seeing live.
They're a little soft and after a nice dinner and drinks, I'd probably fall asleep.

They make wonderful music. sure it is not for every occasion, but when you are in that mood it is a really good album.

saw them last week in amsterdam (2nd night). guess they played almost every song from their LP & EP...
they are one of the bands that make me frown at people who keep repeating that 'today's music just sucks' etc.
just about every song of theirs is a hit...

funny thing was, they kept mocking an audience member who had expressed his love for motley crue at some point ;)

also in one of the encores R. Pecknold stepped out from behind the mic and just did a song without amps! dunno if he does that on a regular basis...unbelievable the guy is only 23 years old or so...great voice, great lyrics

overall: great experience. although i can imagine that they don't really work at some festival

  • i heart fleet foxes!

seen them twice last year. both times front row center! GREAT live! they have wonderful stage banter with the audience. NICE people. met them as they are one of the few bands that will hang out with the audience after their shows.
