Anyone give it a spin yet?

They are a very reliable band...always catchy songs!

    I've listened to it a couple times so far. Granted I've had to listen to my free MP3's of it because the stupid boxset I ordered hasn't shown up yet!

    Anyway, I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other right now. I'll need to give it a few more spins, and then I might give you an answer.

    Although I will say 'For What It's Worth' is a rocking song.

    Thorns, I too am waiting as my girl ordered the boxset, and she hasn't received hers either.

    When I heard it ... I liked it. I liked Meds a bit more, but, this was a solid effort.

    Was hoping they'd do a US swing in the fall, but, it appears they won't hit the US until 2010.


    edit - HA, jsut ralized you bumped the other thread Thorns ... hilarious .... no, she hasn't received it ... we're in Cali.

    I was bored last night, what can I say?? I bumped 3 threads and talked about Placebo in all of them! :lol: :twisted:

    Anyway, good to know I'm not alone in waiting for it to show up.

    The first two albums are excellent.

    Some of the songs on Black Market Music are very good.

    Since then, they've disappointed.

    This album isn't much cop either.
