I'm hoping there was at least one of you there last night because I am pretty sure that was the best show I have ever seen. They played for 2 hours and 45 minutes straight through and between the two legends there was not a bad song in the set. I am telling all of you, if they are hitting up your area on this June tour, it is a must see. The show started out strong, but the general feeling I got from the crowd was that only the fans who knew the music were having a great time. About half way through though... wow... it turned into something else. Better than night 2 (2008) at the Garden for me. They broke into some Derek & The Dominoes and then Stevie Winwood did a cover of Ray Charles Georgia, On My Mind, that blew my mind. They did the MTV unplugged rendition of Layla! Having seen Clapton twice before this, more than anything I could have asked for. Blind Faith all night.

I am telling you, MUST SEE!!!!!!!!!!

i heard they played an awesome version of voodoo child and little wing.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

want to see them in chi but tix are pretty pricey. just bought the live album they put out and i gotta say it's tempting to dish out the cash to go see them...saw clapton a while ago and got to go to the crossroads fest in '07 where they reunited and it was sick...i'm rethinking my decision now.

I just got back from Eddie in Philly tonight, and I have to say how excited I was to hear the story that Ed told, that he and Clapton ran into each other today at the hotel they are both staying at and they talked about this Eric Clapton signature guitar that Ed plays on the tour. What a perfect week of music for me, but I didn't expect it to come full circle like this

I saw Winwood N Clapton Last night in Philly. I saw Eddie on Thursday @ The Tower. I hate to say this because I can feel the flames a commin but Clapton and Winwood were way better than Eddie Solo. I was in the last row to the far left of the stage I could see winwood's organ great. Georgia on my mind was very special and the accoustic layla was right up there also. Great show all ages were there

Got my ticket this afternoon for $78.00 on Craigslist. (face value plus fees) Feel really lucky to have scored it. :D
