now that theres a new single floating around... thoughts?

IMO music critics wouldnt give a shit about this band if it wasnt the new jack white project... love the raconteurs and the white stripes but come on... try to listen objectively

too early to really tell though i guess...

    In my opinion, the 4 tracks floating around are as good or better than The Raconteurs...I already like The Kills (Alison, the lead singers band) and honestly, I think that Hang you from the heavens and Treat me like your Mother are 2 awesome songs. Though I agree that I am shocked they made the cover of Spin, but I love what I have heard and cannot wait for the album... But it is all opinion, right?

    i like hang you from the heavens. treat me like your mother is meh so far.....the sound is good, but im still not fully into the chick. i saw the kills open for the racs and wasnt impressed.

    i think after what jack white has done with the stripes and the racs, WHATEVER his side project is, he will get attention initially no matter what it sounds like. he deserves it.

    i am seeing the dead weather in august. first time i bought tickets to a show only knowing one song. if jack is there, so am I.
