    I wish I would have gone.

    But, let's not forget (or not know) what this was all about.

    I have not seen it discussed on this board anywhere, and I kind of figured that it was too local of a story - but four local police officers were executed while drinking coffee in a coffee house before their shifts started a few Sunday's ago. It was absolutely the most tragic thing to ever happen to Washington State police officers.

    Anyhow, I just wanted to say what this benefit was for. All the proceeds went to the Lakewood Police Independent Guild. Very sad.

    I understand they raised over $50,000 for the families of the fallen officers...

    I was thinking that maybe not all of FTM were there because a couple of them were playing another gig at the Tractor...anyway, Squires (from Loaded) said it was a super awesome night!

    I actually ran into Mike in the casino. I swear he said this: "I need to find my wife before she looses all my money"! I talked with him for a couple of minutes and sorry, I did not get any tour info. I told he I was glad to see him at the event, he comented on my Vancouver 09 tour shirt and he said I looked familier to him. That took be by suprise even though I have meet him a few times. He said he was unsure about being there as they had just got done with a tour. He looked really tired and need a shave but, aside from that he played the national anthem to start the show and it kicked all kinds of butt! We did not see him again all night. Big ups to Bigeye21 from North Bend. Nice chattin with you Bro!

    Great benefit too. My wife and I actually had a Lakewood police officer buy us a round of beers. Felt like it should have been the other way around but he insisted.
