ok, so it's only a master kill switch on a tele. but still, i did it perfectly. first time soldering, first time cutting a wire in a guitar, first time taking anything more powerful than an allen wrench to a guitar.

i drilled the control plate and popped a toggle in.

here's the whole guitar. nothing notable except that i swapped the maple tele neck for a maple/rosewood strat neck.

now that i'm armed with a soldering iron and some circuit diagrams i designed, i'm going to rewire this whole guitar at some point.

thanks. yeah, it's a sticker. i have the union jack on my amplifier too. my grandfather was english......

i love this guitar. i'm planning on putting in concentric pots and wiring it like a les paul with two master volumes. i may put stacked humbuckers in it too.

You little guitarwizard you! Whenever I want something special or changed on my guitar, I have to go to the shop. lol!

Here's a pic of my guitar by the way. Well, it's not mine, but it's exactly the same one. THat colour is pretty rare though. I am gonna change the white pickguard and put a black one on. What do you think?

cool colour. try either black or possibly even a red tortioseshell. the black will look good for sure but sometimes the tortioseshell looks really cool.

I've considered the tortoisse red, but I think it will to much and to flashy or heavy. The green is pretty flashy and differs in different light. The black will look very cool and will sort of mellow it down at the same time. It won't give you a headache just from looking at it.

Then we need a good sticker, like yours

The fun has started. Don't burn the place down ok. Good work, can't wait to see the finished and more importantly to hear the finished product.
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

i just got the bright idea to shoehorn a blend pot in that space to mix between the bridge and neck pickups like my rickenbacker but it won't fit.

so if i ever build a tele deluxe (and i'm sure i will someday, i'm putting a blend control in.

Yeah I've got your cookie right here if you want it :)

Good job, the blend is especially helpful in eq' ing certain effects not to much bass not to much treble.

    I'm impressed good job.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

oh wait. i don't need the blend pot if i end up with concentric Tone/Vol on each pickup. i can just wire it for individual volumes (as opposed to two masters), have the same capability and leave the kill switch in.
