And yes, technically scarfs can also be used, but the problem there is that "scarfs" is also a verb, which is why that word for the plural for a neck scarf has pretty much fallen out of use for the past 100 years or so (or should have, lol).

I searched around and it’s either/or, but scarfs is used one in every 20 times apparently, and it’s fallen out of usage because it was used in the 1800’s supposedly. Think of using scarfs as the word equivalent to listening to an album on vinyl! Just because something is outdated doesn’t mean it can’t be appreciated.
