No disrespect to Nugs, I simply do not understand buying a CDR.  I always just buy the flacs and burn them on my own. Paying nugs extra to burn the cd for you is like paying ticketmaster for a convenience charge on each individual ticket when you make one purchase...oh wait !!!!
How do you burn the flac file to a CD?  I assume you need a special program?

I looked into that a few years back and gave up.  I'm either too technologically ignorant or just lazy.  Or both.
Any Lossless codec needs to be converted to a wav file (preferably, some lesser evolved primates may go straight to mp3) before it can be burned onto a CDr that will play in most compact disc players.

I don't want to pass judgement on anyone, I doubt it is ignorance, it usually just boils down to laziness.  With me at least when I don't want to go further to do something.

Audacity is a code converter of lossless codecs like Flac to wav
And the sound is noticeably better?
There's no difference in sound between a FLAC or WAV, unless you step up to the FLAC HD. Then you need the equipment to properly listen to it.

I didn't read everything like I should have. I didn't realize the boots were going to be CDR's and just figured they were all silver pressed as usual.
I'll just get FLACS for now on.
BurnAware Free seems to burn them as wavs.
I'm having issues with my Audacity, can't export the files into a wav for some reason.

The usual is cd-r :( I don't think they've been silver pressed (with the exception of the boxsets and 2016 stadium shows) since 2003.  2005/2006 were digital only.  2008/09 were cd-r.   I agree it's mildly disappointing :(  I still buy them because it's better than I'd make at home, but no matter how good the packaging/artwork is, cd-r's still have that do it yourself at home feel to them.

Equipment is the key ingredient to listening to HD files. Without it your wasting your money and storage space.

    Two things to consider here:
    1. The Home/Away shows were just recently released = influx of orders from crazy PJ fans.
    2. Pearl Jam isn't the only band they do bootlegs for.

both of the above points are BANG on.

Considering the nugs staff seems to be on the small side they have a lot of work to do on these.

I can be impatient too but its not going to stop me form ordering my live shows.

Also, we are a community of people that loves to wait.  We wait in merch lines for hours, sometimes multiple times/days for the same show.  We wait on fan club singles, often a year or more after we should get them.  We wait on Mail Innovations to deliver the stuff we order from the site.  We wait 5+ years in between studio albums.  We pre-order Vaults that aren't released for another 5-8 months.  We love waiting.  What's a couple extra days or a week or two on a bootleg CD?

Where are the boxsets? Or boxes for 2018 ,iam not sure why gthr cds  get released and then boxsets ,I would like to listen to the shows we went too but might as well wait for the boxset then. To buy individuals cds ,is a waste of money if you want the boxset, and your out of boxes for 2008,2009,2013, just saying, ewww wee this is just common sense ,merchandise stuff folks

The million-dollar question. People are buying the individual CDs, which means the boxes won't be in as-much demand. If they announced the box set at the start of the year with them being shipped at the time of the last show of the year, people might be willing to wait.

You have to edit the titles yourself. A fun result of the top notch Nugs quality control.
