He does belong in the hall of fame but think about the gambling thing. If you placed a bet I would say, if you placed a bet on your own team you're obviously going to play your best as you normally would but what if you bet on another team for divisional etc. ?? Where do you draw the line.
I hate the fact that he gambled, and on his own games.  And he lied when given the opportunity to come clean. That's why he's a dick.
    But
Hitting a baseball off a major league pitcher is one of the most difficult things to do in sports.  He was able to do that more than anyone else. And if he gambled on games he participated in, he would more likely have struck out to throw a game.  You can 100% strike out on demand.  But nobody can get a hit on demand.  Therefore, a non-gambling Pete Rose might have had even more hits!

Parting ways is their best song on albums 6-10 and should be played live every other show.

    - The first five records are the big five.
    - Pendulum is the best show opener and Yellow Leadbetter is the best ending
    - Take the best songs from Binaural, Riot Act and S/T and make one great record out of them.
    - I never get tired of Ten, but Vs. and Yield are better.
    - Nirvana should definitely do a reunion tour with John McCauley.
    - McCready's solos live on Even Flow and Black allways give me the chills.

I've tried, I really have, but the vaunted '06 Grand Rapids bootleg sucks, even though the setlist is great. Just doesn't sound very good. Ed's voice is too thin on the vocals and the mix is subpar.

I am tired of the band's politics.... quit telling me how to live and make more music for me to enjoy
the best bootleg is just a show you loved because you were there, quit helping the band sell bootlegs for shows because a rarity was played.
the ticket lottery is the best way to sell tickets to shows... because you joined 10c before newer members were born doesn't give you first choice of seats.

$125 a ticket for the stadium shows or any future concerts will keep me from going, no band is worth that to see live especially when I get 30 to 45 minutes of time spent doing something other than listening to good music live

Lightning Bolt sucks!!! Sirens is horrible and I never need to hear Courduroy, DTE, Dissident, Daughter or RITFW live again.

YL should close every show... it will be the last song played at my funeral.

No, it should be Evenflow. As in not a cover. But played last.

I think most of the discussion around band merchandise and obsessive hand wringing over posters really takes the good out of Ten Club for me.

The fact that PJ didn't make a ticket Poster for Wrigley is bs. Eddie you got a guitar, your hometown???
    Corona please.
Tracking baskets made is a helluva lot easier than tracking balls, strikes, outs, innings, pitches thrown, foul tips, men stranded on base, on base percentages, ERA's, and all the other crap, corked bats, and home run records by steroid users. Different strike zones in national league vs american league. Designated hitter in one league, pitchers batting in the other.  It's fucked.
Also, until every single field and stadium has the same dimensions.....statistics don't mean a damned thing in baseball.  I'm tired of hearing announcers say, "that would have been a home run in Yankee Stadium".  A home run should just be a fucking home run in any stadium.
And....Pete Rose belongs in the Hall of Fame as a player.  I don't give a shit if he gambled....he is the all-time hit leader.
    Fuck baseball.

I like Foxymophandlemama, Bugs and Aye Davanita.  Small indoor venues rock.  I am sick of baseball themed merchandise (we ARE following a rock band after all) and would be happy if all we got was t-shirts, stickers, posters and music.  I don't like Lightening Bolt.  I don't understand The Ames Brother's hype, and after browsing their website, think that they are often "calling it in", often recycling designs across several bands and dates.  Binaural is awesome.  I don't mind covers, and don't think that any song can "ruin the momentum" of a show.  Apologies for poor grammar and sentence structure.....it is very late.

I remember watching Jordan trying to get into the nba and total bs 8 players stand on the side...i think they changed the illegal d rules since?

Then he'd make the most incredible move and i thought wow, thats like 1% of his teams output needed, wow.

    A couple more:

    - Although I think Cameron is one of the tightest drummers around, Krusen is thee PJ-drummer.
    - I think the band should take on a Soundgarden song live. Spoonman could be awesome.
    - They shouldn't end shows with Indifference. It's kind of a bummer song to end things with.
