^^ I like the DMB poster.  Love the critters.
50 stinking bucks! but signed and limited to 740.
740 sounds like an incredibly weird place to stop.  What's your number?

I would rather pay $50 for something that I like and will hang on the wall.  I would hang that on my wall.

RedMosquitoSmile28 - where did you get that blue frame for the Klausen Boston ?

    great job on these
I just went to a local independent art/custom framing store that was recommended to me. They had all these colors and we just went through and tried to find the best matches. They loved the posters there too. I can't tell what brand frame it is, but the color is labeled as Blue Carnival.

In the past I've done the same frame, dark, and then different mats. Tried something different to keep the same style with all of them but unique looks. The frames aren't all the exact same because of limited colors, but they are real close and you can't tell without actually looking close or even feeling them.
Were the frames sized correctly or custom? They look great without the mats.

just framed these two. I thought the red mat would make the klausen “pop” more, but it didn’t. I can alway try another mat...

the DMB mat is actually a much better match to the pine trees than it looks.

Methane had a great year with DMB prints  this summer.  They were all very good, IMO.  In fact, the whole summer tour, all the artists,  outclassed the PJ prints by a long way.

Totallly agree on Methane.  A lot of people on the DMB boards complain about Methane but I love their style.  Would love to see them do a run of PJ posters.

Picked this up today. I went a little over budget with the frame, as it was one of the more expensive ones ($162 for the frame alone).  But I really liked the way it matched the inside matte and the same color in the print. I was worried about the main bold red matte taking away from the print itself.  But I think the frame balances out the boldness of the red and left plenty of attention for the print. When it comes to mattes I generally like at last 3 or 4 different colors.  I originally picked out the light blue in the print as the main outside matte color and the other 3 colors on the inside.  I ended up changing it last minute and went with just the 3 colors and the red as the main one.

Looking forward to picking up my Wrigley Thomas tomorrow.

Just landed a Milwaukee Frost. Looking for frame/matte ideas. Anyone have examples so I don’t have to go back 350 pages?  Thanks
I kept mine pretty simple.  Such great colors on the poster so didn't want to go too crazy with the mattes....

Very nice.  I'm trying to decide how to matte my Fenway Mumford. I love the colors in it.  But there is so much going on in it that I'm worried about taking away from the print.  I really like your curved inner matte with the simple inner black matte.  I'm hoping to see some people who've matted the Mumford print to get some ideas.  But so far I've only seen everyone frame it with no matte.  I did the same but it really needs a matte imo.  The simplicity of yours is motivating me to go the simple route though.

Yes!  I love this...I've said it before but I love the way an understated frame/matte job allows the poster to breathe/shine.  Very well done.

Just got this one back.  Also got my Seattle and Boston Klausens but couldn’t get a decent picture of them.  I’ll try again this weekend.
