  • I finally saw Simple Minds for the first time on Sunday night in Toronto. It was a great show with a great setlist. I'm kicking myself for having waited so long to see them. So many good shows missed. The show was made just a little bit more interesting due to the fact that Josh Homme was up front on the guitarists side rocking the fuck out to Simple Minds! Kinda weird.

  • wasn't josh the dude who kicked that photographer in the camera/face while she was talking a picture...and all done because he was being a super cool rock star ? alive and kicking indeed!

I had no idea they were still together writing music. Wow. Will definitely check them out.

No, Mel Gaynor left a few years ago apparently.

They have a younger female drummer now who was quite good.

Only original members still there are Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill.

Jim Kerr ought to be the only one who matters
