Definitive live version of Crazy Mary

Just curious what everyone thinks is the definitive version of Crazy Mary?  I really think the October 9-2000 version in Chicago is really good.

Alpone valley 2003.  Guy jumps on stage, EV entertains him for a few seconds, dances with him, lets him have the mic for a second. Then introduces him as "some fucking idiot" at end of some.  Not to mention Boom and Mike going back and forth for solos.  Unreal.

Philly 4/28/03 is great.  Was the opener so no big solo's by Mike and Boom in the middle.  really great version though.

Agreed. The organ kills this song.

Pre Boom there is only maybe one Crazy Mary really worth spending time with, November 17, 1993.

Once Boom arrived, there are a lot but 3 that generally rise to the top

  • The best version of this song comes from the band's 2000 show in Arizona. 10/21/00, no other version comes close.
