It’d be frustrating if he kept us hanging all morning. An early “no posters today” post is actually incredibly courteous imo. It allows us to get on with our day. I’m sure he knows first hand how crazy we all are

So true, but now many are going to expect the Pssst, (No drop today) notice all the time.

Its funny how these drops have started to work recently. The randomness of them have now made us all come here everyday and anxiously wait for a poster drop, or a heads up from Santos to say there will not be one.

We've gone so mad that Poor Santos now has to come on when there is NO drop and tell us to go home.

Yeah, me neither. I just can't see them selling us $700. posters for just 35 bucks. Especially since it's no secret that a good percentage of 10c members are flippers and rafflers. If 10c has any Romes, it would make more sense to sell them for charity at maybe $500. a pop.

Well they created that price by selling stacks to flippers at the concert.

Nah.   I think they are keeping the most popular ones until the end.

Some sort of reverse sale doohickey.

They start the price insanely high, say $1500. At random intervals, they drop the price by random amounts. You could wait for unknown hours and maybe save $291 on it or take your chances and buy it now.

But that still wouldn't work. A waffler would still get money back. 100 chances at $10 each could fill...and the guy would still figure out how to make money.

Unless...they're printing thousands more while we proverbial speak.

I hope these aren’t used as bait to get rid of the undesirable posters in a Mystery poster tube sale.

Amen.  I don't give the tiniest shit how desirable or rare or "valuable" it is, I just want a Rome poster because I went to the show and it looks cool.  Print a billion of them.  Shit, TC should be spending some of their vast profits on an automated screen printing machine so that whenever you want any poster, click button on intertube and voila, poster on the way, 50% of proceeds going to artist.  Do away with this whole mess.
  • Some of the EMEK mini prints of the artwork from the Rome show are starting to show up.  I saw a picture of one on Facebook last night.  They are numbered, embossed, signed, and doodled!  Pretty sweet!

to be really honest they will never do that.

and u know why? because the moment 10c started to sell posters at the secondary market price(a few years ago the expo on seattle with the cascais 96 poster at 600 dollars) , they showed they dont care about it.
