Gov't Mule covering Come Back

  • Wow. I saw they played Come Back last night, but just figured it was a cover of something else. Awesome!

I’d love to hear a good version of the recording.  Warren has such a great voice and they typically nail the covers they try.  This sounds great though.

They release their shows like PJ. Usually only a few days later. Ed is a tough person to cover, but Warren usually does a good job of putting his own spin on covers. Dude can play anything. They've covered a few PJ songs over the years.

That's cool....I'm kicking myself for not seeing them in Noblesville a few weeks back.  Didn't know much about them and they were there with the Avett Brothers so the bill didn't interest me.

I saw the Clarkston, MI show a few weeks ago.  Govt Mule. Avett Brothers. Magpie Salute.  All three were outstanding. Not to mention, playing like 15 Pink Floyd covers.

warren and ann wilson doing i am the highway last year is wonderful.  he has always shown his respect for the seattle scene. really wish him and chris would have collaborated.  that woulda been amazing.

that was GREAT. I haven't been to Xmas jam since 2009. I am hoping one day he can convince Neil Young or Ed to come play. I know... that is a pipe dream...

Really like this version of the song. I love when an artist covers a less obvious song by someone else. I must delve further into Govt Mule sometime.
