I've seen a good bit of distaste for Binaural on here, surprisingly.  I personally only dislike two songs in the entire catalog.  I don't think PJ has ever stopped making good music.
  • I was stalking the poster page all morning. What time did the Prague pop up at?

Just curious what makes 2018 Prague and Berlin so coveted.  The actual art?  The concert performance?  The particular artist?

In a similar vein, I'm surprised that the Seattle EMEK is still available.  EMEK is a poster god around these parts. I have my favorite framing shop and the owner, Greg, tells me that EMEK gets all his personal stuff framed by him.  (KB Custom Frames - Portland, OR)

Agreed.  I could do without Backspacer, but other than that (and Sirens off of LB) I pretty much like it all.

Id say the Emek is still readily available due to the suspected boat loads of quantities they made for these 5 poster ballpark shows (excepting the Shuss, apparently).  How many are left after 5 days of merch truck sales?  Plenty?  Or, everyone who wanted to have one to flip or keep was able to get them then.  The Landgraaf and Werchter, and also Milan, were not high favorites, as least here.  I liked the Milan myself, I just dont have the funds to get everything I like.. ;)

I can't speak for everyone else, but this was the only European show I was at (traveled from Philly) and I like to collect (and display) posters for all my out-of-town shows.   I missed out on getting this at the show and pretty much stalked the 10C shop daily for the past 3 weeks.   I haven't seen it live in person yet - it was completely sold out at the venue by the time I got there and I spent an unusually long amount of time in the beer line at the O2 to go searching other merch tables - but I am still thankful I was able to order one.

Thanks to Santos for the hard work and patience it takes in making these available.

The flippers are a part of what adds value to the posters, whether we want to believe that or not.

We can't have high demand limited edition posters where everyone gets each one that they want.  I've actually seen people here say that.... that they want limited edition items that everyone has access too.  It just doesn't work that way!
Well said. As much as I dont agree with the flippers, I get the appeal. A poster is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I've bought posters on eBay for insane prices but I've always been willing to spend that money for something that is limited and special to me....

Imagine if their music was also sold in limited editions and it was a "high demand" item that you would pay "insane prices" for since it would be "limited and special". Wouldn't it suck if you couldn't listen to an album if you didn't pay hundreds of $ to get it? Yes, it would.

For me, the thing with the so-limited edition posters that creates a secondary market where posters are sold in prices multiple times higher than their original one, is stupid, unfair and in the end makes them lose money. Give the people what they want there guys. Print more posters.

  • I know there were issues after the posters were released in 2008 but really, if 10c members were given opportunity to pre order posters ahead of the shows then that resolves the whole souviner thing - as I've said before, I like to try and get a poster for every show I go to... Even Amsterdam 1 in 2012 I eventually wanted to make my collection complete... As long as at pre order stage people recognise that the poster might have an animal with 44 eyes or 23 skulls involved in the design...!!!
I needed up paying $100 for one - even though I didn't really like the art -  haha!
Now it's been back on sale here this Summer and now further reduced in price to $24.95...
Was it sold out for 6 Years and then a new batch printed?  Sometimes, with product being cash on the books, people have to inflate the demand a little bit and that's fair enough.

If the initial price is $35 but demand is so high that posters are resold for hundreds on EBay, that tells me they could both print more and charge more for the posters. As it is, money that should be going to the artists is flowing into the pockets of resellers. Efforts are made to stop people from doing that with tickets; the same could be done with posters.
