If we're including framing as well, I only just completed my biggest, which was a straight trade of a sealed Sevens for the Cincy '03 poster, plus $300+ for the frame job.
If we're not talking framing, then I suppose it was $300-and-something for the OG Binaural vinyl maybe 4 or 5 years ago? (of course I bought it right when prices peaked, lol).
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
I dropped some cash on original LPs a while back. Maybe $400 on an opened Benny. Paid artist prices for a few APs and cost for the Fenway jersey. Otherwise I’ve fought paying a premium for merch/posters
PJ: 2003 Mansfield: July 2 2004 Boston: Sept 28 & 29 2005 Montreal: Sept 15 2006 Boston: May 24 & 25 2008 Hartford: June 27, Mansfield: June 28, 2010 Boston: May 17 2013 Worcester: Oct 15, Hartford: Oct 25, 2016 Hampton: April 18, Raleigh: April 20 (cancelled), Columbia: April 21. Quebec: May 5. Boston (Fenway): August 7
I'm not sure if it counts, because it's not exactly only PJ merch, but I have 2 of the McCready Gibson Les Pauls, one aged, and one aged/signed. They are much more expensive on reverb.com now than I paid though. I got them both brand new under their original MAP.
Next most would be posters. Have paid $335 and $250 for posters once each before. Other than those, I think everything has been at the artist's original price, or show original price.

Probably just the $40 bucks for normal posters and then a shirt. My wallet cannot afford those unsealed rare vinyls and my patience and wanting to enjoy life cannot afford to spend hours at merch tables hunting down rare posters and setlist shirts
I paid $265 for an AP munk one Adelaide ‘09. Thats the most I have spent on a single item

Nothing really big to be honest, but when you start to add the small numbers up it gets pretty scary! I’ve been pretty lucky getting the original releases when they come out, and I don’t chase auction prices.
The most I’ve paid for PJ is probably flights to see overseas shows

I bought a $10 shirt after the 95 show in Sacramento. They even spelled "Sacremento" wrong. Oh, I paid a few dollars for a show sticker in London this year.
$1300 on a sealed Benny, but it was well worth it! Opening it was an experience in and of itself. Felt like a little kid, like Charlie opening Willy Wonka's golden ticket bar. Have gotten so much enjoyment spinning those records...

Ok I'm jealous.
Very nice. I always keep an eye on them on reverb and yeah I don't see it happening anytime soon, lol

I was lucky, man. I sold several nice Les Pauls to make that possible. I didn't even know that Gibson had a McCready Les Paul in the works, but I had told my wife for years that if it ever happened, I had to have one. My local guitar shop, knowing that I'm a PJ nut, called me the morning that they got the marketing info for them from Gibson, and ordered mine right then.

According to what I had seen online afterward, the most I paid for something was trading a George Webb Wrigley 2013 card for a Munk One (hot dog) poster from that show. Had no idea the George Webb card was coveted and that explains why that guy jumped on the deal lol
Technically I think it was when I bought a Seattle '98 poster around 7 or 8 years ago. I paid around $410 USD including shipping (it came framed). Glad I did it then, because the Canadian dollar was almost at par back then. Would cost me a mint to get one now.
I suppose framing could be considered. I only started framing my posters (PJ and otherwise) after I moved into my house. I kept bringing in 4 to 6 at a time, at $50 + tax each, it really added up. Must of paid over $1k on that project.
If we're talking concert merch. Probably Wrigley '16. Bought two posters, tshirt, bunch of cards, and the pennant. Then I bought the lwt's play two vinyl/cd/bluray to commerate those shows. I usually buy a poster and tshirt (sometimes the odd nick nack). Wrigley '16 is the only time I exceeded $100 in merch... Usually around $60 to $80.

A hard cover Place/Date in a slipcover signed by Lance Mercer that was made as a Thank you to the band.
Really limited FREAK promo.
Most recently was a framed 98 Seattle poster.
Edit: whatever that Thomas AP came to. 145$ I think.

Secondary market I dropped $200 on a Binaural vinyl.
I preordered the first vault & threw on a few other items. Maybe like $200?

If framing counts, then $250 for 2 prints.
I’m trying to move towards collecting experiences, not stuff.
Also $810 for a PJ20 tricolour from Vitalogy ebay...
Still feel bad for the spending to be truthful...But I love both of them so much... The records and my parents!
