Neither. I think shows would be best ended with something that's really rocking and upbeat (besides RITFW). I don't really care for PJ's 'end it with a slow song' philosophy.
    This ^^

I remember on the Zoo TV tour when U2 finished with Love is Blindness. Such a downer.

I love Indifference, but picked YL since to me, it's almost a tradition to hear that one as the closing song.

Indifference closed the Missoula show, while I was glad to experience a different closer than YL as I had in my other shows...I do prefer that MM solo to cap off an epic night of music.

YL is a better studio song than live.

Opening show in ‘16 at Ft Lauderdale had Go as the opener and Indifference as the closer. So amazing.

Oddly enough, it might be the opposite for me.

Play Yellow Ledbetter as a Mike/Eddie solo preset opener, end the first set with Indifference, and close with Present Tense
Remove yourself from comfort . . . all progress involves risk

only because, like others have said, it is a well known cue - but it's certainly ready for retirement.

I’ve always liked Indifference as a closer for night 1 of a two night stand. Leaves ya wanting more. Otherwise, I like Rockin or Baba as a closer.

They should, just once, blow everyone’s minds and open with YLB.
