punctuation and punctuality are 2 different things.

     Definition of punctuation
1 : the act of punctuating : the state of being punctuated
2 : the act or practice of inserting standardized marks or signs in written matter to clarify the meaning and separate structural units; also : a system of punctuation
3 : something that contrasts or accentuates

     Definition of punctual
: being on time : prompt
    — punctuality play \ˌpəŋk-chə-ˈwa-lə-tē\ noun
    — punctually play \ˈpəŋk-chə-wə-lē, -chə-lē\ adverb

Being punctual, ugh!  My first thought was, yeah, at this point in my life, I hate having to worry about being somewhere on time.

We're going to visit some people north of here this morning.  My wife just reminded me we need to get get going soon.   I nicely said, "Yes dear" (I'm well trained, haha!) but what I wanted to say was

FUCK THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I NEED MORE COFFEE FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah oh, did I just stress anyone out????????????????????

I like to use this one to: ?!
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

I actually felt mad at the thread title. I was all, "yeah, well all you fucking chronically late people are causing ME anxiety!!!!!!" (take that, with all the exclamation points - how do you like it?!?!)
I am almost compulsively punctual, but to me that is simply considerate, responsible behaviour. I will never get over how cavalier so many people are about it - it's just rude.

punctuation: my mother almost always uses at least 3-5 exclamation points after every sentence in emails/texts. it's like she's always yelling at us.

punctuality: the waiting drove me mad
    Darwinspeed, all.

I think we should turn this into one of those 100+ page threads. 100 pages of exclamations.

I'm such an idiot...  In my defense I was only on my first cup of coffee when I posted it this morning.

I'm leaving the title though as is because it's now funny!!!

I blame Panic! At The Disco.
I think Oh Henry! also deserves much of the blame.

I would think that punctuality and proper writing in the English language rather decreases than increases anxiety. Or not. :)
Actually I'm not even sure about what this thread is about.

Me either. It adds to the fun! Whatever you do, don't read the articles.  :dizzy:

That emoji was more a warning about my state of mind than the articles. I'm sure the articles are great.  :)
The punctuality is getting to me!
