True fact... I called my grandfather BUMP.  Seriously.   No one knows why.  He wanted to be called Gramp.  My sister (5 years older) called him Gramp.  I called him Bump.  One day I stopped and called him Gramp.

I think when I become a grandfather, I'm gonna see if my grandkids will call me Bump.   Or maybe Fädder...  click here to read about why Fädder is a great "grandfather" name.

My dad writes an article every Sunday about living with ALS.   I've been posting the Archives of those articles.  Perhaps his journey and experience can help others who have just been diagnosed and are preparing to fight their battle with this disease.

I wish you guys could see the other side of The Boss's melon.  There's a Eddie Vedder Mickey Mouse Rats sticker.
That kid LOVES Pearl Jam.   I wish he could come to Wrigley with us.   One day I'll post a video of him playing air guitar.  He loves Mike and Stone.

That shirt is hand made... for the record.

I cut each of those letters out with an exacto knife and ironed them on...

Great, pics! You've got an artist in the family. Those look like iconic shots of childhood that could be put up in a museum. By chance is that at the Outer Banks? Have always been fascinated by pics I've seen of that area. Should have gone during the 2016 tour, but it made more sense for us (with work, etc.) to start in Lexington and follow the tour through to Toronto. Would love to get there some day.

    Thank you!

It's actually Isle of Palms North of Charleston.

The Outer Banks is a crazy place.  It's like 10-12 hours from Charlotte.  Literally I could drive to New York or The Outer Banks in the same time.

In 10 - 20 years, some places in the outer banks might be gone with global warming.  There is a road near the Outer banks that is The Atlantic on one side and the  Pamlico Sound on the other.  Its like a mile wide strip of land.

I encourage everyone to visit while you can.

I personally love Ocracoke... its beautiful.

Many tourists forget they are still in the US and ask if it's a local call to the mainland... or if the bars accept US dollars.

But no... we were down in Charleston, SC at Isle of Palms.

    Great question.
I searched forever and was only able to find two sources.  The first was Ebay.  I guess when they reissued Vitalogy they either sold Vitalogy shirts or the vinyl came with a shirt, I'm not exactly sure.

They other source was a Swiss website that has since disappeared.  They came in red, green, black and white, if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, I started making them for my kids.  I've made three as they have gotten older.  I also made two adult versions.  It's not difficult, just tedious.

Cutting out the letters and ironing them on is a pain in the ass.  They aren't perfect, but Vitalogy is my favorite... so.

    UPDATE:
I just sesrched again.  Looks like there is an Etsy vendor who sells them.

I'm on my phone so I can't create a shorter link.
