Most of the Obviously Solo Ed songs (Just Breathe, SBM etc) are in the running but Future Days takes it.  Just an overly saccharine, sentimental, syrupy gloop of a song.

While nothing on Backspacer is mind blowing, especially for PJ standards, I have actually grown very fond of that album. It's a quick fun listen and I enjoy it front to back. Very underrated because of their previous work. Now, Lightning Bolt on the other hand, still not able to easily get through that whole thing. A real struggle to put it on at all.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Unbelievable how many “tin men” are PJ fans. Both these songs show an incredible amount of songwriting skill.

Of the songs that I hear live very few are stinkers for me. Last Kiss, Future Days, and Sleeping By Myself top that list for though. Just Breathe gets an honourable mention especially since it is always the first couple of songs in the first encore. That just means less of a chance of a Fatal or similar song in that spot.

There are no bad PJ songs. Some are just not as good as the others.
For the sake of argument I'll go with Pry, to and Bugs

Not many but there are a few
    Thumbing my way
    Gone
    Sirens
    Future Days
    Yellow moon
    Fixer
There are no bad songs on the first 6 albums! I dont really count the short oddities on Vitalogy as songs.

For the most part, I agree with that last statement although I'm Open, Pilate, PMPM,  and Soon Forget rank relatively low for me.

Different thread I guess but I don't mind all the oddities on Vitalogy, I just think there are two too many. My opinion would be to remove Bugs and Stupid Mop altogether and end the album with Aya Davanita. To me this makes a perfect album.

The one thing that is great about soon forget is that telecaster ukulele.  So bad ass!

I love no code but around the bend and Off he goes  is it? Are two songs I skip straight away, there’s a few others on the later albums that I think are naff too.

I think my top 5 from the studio albums are:
    1.  you are
    2.  evacuation
    3. unemployable
    4. cropduster
    5.  sleight of hand

I'll ride the wave where it takes me......
