The Olive Garden vs any corner / family restaurant....OG would not win 5% of those battles.  Blech.
I'd agree with this for sure.

But it's not Dominos or McDonalds.
Del when you visit New Jersey I ll take on you on a tour of the top five olive gardens in the state!!

I never got no gawddam pizza this weekend and I ain't getting any gawddam pizza tonight either with a dinner arrangement.

I'm going to freaking lose it soon. I might just go fire up the DP thread and really tie into someone just as a way to vent.

you sure you’re talking pizza and not getting laid? :confounded:

Carrabba's is a chain joint and their tomato cream sauce that comes on the mezza Luna ravioli is delicious.

The one time I ate at a Carrabba's, I remember being pleasantly surprised.

Why do you Americans say pie? Why not just pizza?
Its not all Americans, just certain regions of the country.
We call it pizza here in dankind's hell.

True. When I moved back here and ordered a pie over the phone from the closest pizzeria, the dumbass on the other end was extremely confused.

I've already told my children that if they start calling water fountains/coolers "bubblahs," sprinkles "jimmies" and milkshakes "frappes" that I'm disowning them.

Don't worry, Scruffy. He should put out after all those fancy Olive Garden dates that you're planning. Alfredo sauce and breadsticks are a widely known aphrodisiac.

Not necessarily all Americans.  It's more of a dialect thing, though not exactly regional as much as it is convention.  Traditionalists tend to call it pie, modernists call it pizza.  I use both interchangeably and don't really think about it much.

One thing is for certain, if you call it "za" you'll probably get punched in the face by both the pie and pizza crews.

I say this with the fear of getting punched in the face, but I do call it za on occasion. I know others that do too, so maybe it’s a Chicago thing? Or maybe the people I know are worthy of being punched too. Lol

I like to sit at the spots they put next to the open kitchen.  Props to the men and women that work a busy place.  Food is ok.  They give you a shitton

Never been to Carrabba's but I have been to Romano's.  Better than Olive Garden (not that it takes much), pretty decent for a chain but nothing to text home about.

It was a margherita pie bud so it had slices of mozzarella on it.  I knew you were kidding with your dig at Allie.
