Please note the vinyl record will be available for pickup Friday, July 6, at Wrigley Field. Additional details regarding the redemption of this exclusive item will be shared closer to the game date.

    Those look pretty sweet.....drool!

Damn, as a Cubs fan and PJ man......... I really want one of these!!!!
Same.  I have a buddy that lives a mile from Wrigley, too.  But he's kind of unreliable.  When I had him get the Oktoberfest glass boot a couple yrs ago, he kept texting me about him & his buddies going into all these bars and shit.  I was like, dude, get to the fucking game and get my damn glass!!  He finally went in the 6th inning.

 pretty tempting for a party guy to hang out at the bars. plenty to choose from.

"get you ass in there and get the boot"!!!!

Waiting on a reply back on that one. Cool they are able to ship outside the USA.
Can't believe how many taxes & fees there are just added to the ticket sale price.
I would of favored them putting just a full price of that ticket then giving me all those fees on top of that 52 bucks at the end.

Since we are still finalizing the details regarding the vinyl shipment, I do not have an answer for the cost of the shipment. Once I find an answer, I will let you know.

For those of us who are going to the game and getting this record I think that is a great deal but just to pay the money for the ticket and shipping just to get the vinyl record is a bit expensive but I am sure these will be for sale in the 10 club store at some point

Maybe 10club will sell a black vinyl release while those who go to the game get the exclusive cubs one.

Haven't heard back what they will be charging to ship the vinyl outside the USA if you can't make it to the game.

Just can't bring myself to spend $72 on it.  I can make it to the stadium but couldn't stay for the game that day.  Maybe it would be different if I could stay and watch the game.

I can't bring myself too to spend over $100US for this to ship to Canada when they haven't even sold out of these vinyl packages. Must be over 5k pressed.

So you can buy this and have it shipped to you, rather than pick-up?   I'd love it as a vinyl collector but no chance to make it to Chicago.  If that's the case, I'd buy the tickets and give them away to anyone that wants to go to the game.

Still no guarantee about shipping options, but here's what I could get from fan services. I asked about donating the tickets to the Cubs charity in case people would be burning tickets - but I'm not sure if you need to be the ticket owner in order to get the vinyl shipped (proof of purchase of vinyl package).

Also, with the limited seating available for this package, I'd definitely say above 500 but nowhere near tens of thousands. Most low-run Wrigley promos are 5,000 when everyone in the stadium is eligible, so 2,500-5,000 is probably an decent bet.

A couple years ago, the Cubs did an Oktoberfest boot drinking glass giveaway.  It was a pretty similar operation as this, you had to buy the glass ticket package. Not everyone in the stadium got one.  Living in Maryland, I obviously couldn't make it to the game, so I had my buddy who lived a block down from Wrigley on Sheffield pick it up for me (I mailed the ticket to him).  I do recall there was a specific locaiton (I think near the Bleacher gate) and window of time to pick up the glass (like an hour before the game up until the 5th inning or something).  Don't fret, it should be a well-organized operation.
That's some useful info right there^^

How the hell can anyone say there are tens of thousands of these?

Cubs tickets for this season were on sale wayyyyyyyyy before this promotion was in the works and announced. It's a Friday game during a holiday week when kids are out of school and a ton of people have taken off work. They probably sold 35,000 seats for this game between season ticket holders and fans buying individual tickets before this promotion was ever even announced. The place only holds 40,000, give or take.

I don't know if there's a way to verify there's only 500, but it's a very safe bet there sure aren't 20,000 of them floating around.

Take a look at what has sold on eBay already and the prices, though. It's pretty clear what a few people are doing: Buy two tickets for roughly $170 after all the BS fees and taxes. Keep one vinyl, and sell the other – and they've been going for $160-200. So some people are obviously buying two, pre-selling one, and the one they're pre-selling is paying for their personal copy to make it free.

So in other words, just like every show at the merch booth!

Was gonna say the same thing. 100%. I really wish I could get my hands on one as a HUGE PJ & Cubs fan, but the 4th of July makes it too inconvenient. I think that is how they are able to make it a very exclusive, yet reasonable amount of copies. I'm thinking like 1,500 or less.
