It was pretty good. My favorite of the bunch is the Block 15. Their flagship IPA Sticky Hands is great as well.

I recall when I first began dabbling in craft brews. The only thing I could stomach were Kolsch style. Now I very seldom drink them. And when I do, it has to be hot or I will likely be drinking a lot  throughout the day.

A buddy grabbed me a new one from New Glarus Brewery in WI. Gonna sample this weekend and will post then. Looking forward to trying it. New Glarus is always a treat since it can only be purchased in WI.

Went to Bell's launch at a bar nearby. Jersey just started receiving Bell's this month. Had Pool Time and Lager of the Lakes for the 1st time and the classics Oberon and Two Hearted. Pool Time was very good.
    Alright, alright, alright!

Bell's just started out east? Oh man! if you're an IPA guy, you're going to start drinking a whole lot of Two Hearted.

Just try not to gain weight like me.

It's been awhile, but all this hype makes me want to give it a try again. I don't recall being impressed by it.

Washington Brewers Festival is happening this weekend.  Over 500 beers to sample from 100 Washington brewers and it all happens 15 minutes from my house. I'll be there tomorrow, and typically make it an all-day affair. Can't wait! Haven't missed it in years. This is a high holy day for me.

This is the new one I got from New Glarus. Real good, light easy drinker. I’d recommend grabbing a sixer for anyone in WI or that makes it up that way.

Two Hearted is such a solid go to beer.  It really is underrated.

The first year I poured at the GABF I poured for Bells and had no idea who they were or about their beers. It only took me about 15 minutes and a few tastings to figure out why we had a such long line throughout the fest.
Was bummed to find out they didn' distribute to Colorado at that time.
For the next few years I always took advantage of drinking Bells when I could.
Now available in Colorado and a lot more states so not such a big deal anymore.
    But still damn good.
Still got some Hopslam hiding in my fridge.

I first found it in Baton Rouge of all places 8 years ago.  This was just before the craft boom.  It wasn't another 3 years later before it finally surfaced here in NY.

I'm very thankful for the craft beer boom.  It makes it easier for other beers to get nationally distributed!!!

I'm going to +1 the both of you on this.

I know that Chris (Tempo) and this Chris (darwinstheory) have different views on awesome beer, but we both agree on 2 hearted being fire! Then I have another friend who scoffs at akl the APA and IPA's I have him try. But when we go to a place that has it, he's solid with the 2 hearted. I'm a firm lover of Zombie Dust, but admittedly, especially over the last 8 months or so, it is hit or miss. Sometimes it's quite literally the best thing in the world. Other times, it tastes like swamp ass. 2 hearted is good to go and tastes the same kind of good every time.

    My $.02 anyhow...

I'm a big fan of Black Tuesday, Surly Darkness, & Polycephaly #3. Since I can't get my hands on those, my go to is Dragon's Milk.
If anyone has any suggestions for a Bourbon barrel aged Imperial, that has a smooth, slightly sweet finish, I would love you forever. I am constantly on the search for something close to my favorite 3.

Regarding the Bells talk.....my BIL is in the process of making a clone of Two Hearted AS WE SPEAK.
