i just can't see how that could hold up in court though. Trump and Guiliani can spew this bs all they want but I don't see it standing up Constitutionally.  Agree it would be scary as hell though.

Where is the outrage from the Ron Paul crowd? This kind of tyrannical thinking should have triggered them long ago.

It's almost like all those concerns we heard about during the Obama years didn't come from a strong belief in the Constitution but rather from something...else.

It's amazing how much the 2A argument comes up in regards to the gun violence thread and how we need it to protect against a tyrannical government, but then when you have a president expressing he is above the law, they don't seem to care. Isn't this the type of shit that led to McVeigh? There's got to be some underground fervor with the abuse of power talk being discussed so nonchalantly right now.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Anecdotally, I feel like most “libertarians” tend to be content with GOPers that spend lots of money on things other than poor people and things that help improve the common good.

I see that it boils down to that they’re getting what they want, and don’t see that they’re sacrificing democratic principles in the process. They suffered for 8 years under Obama, so now it’s just reversed. It’s haha laugh at the liberal who’s upset. They don’t understand why the liberal is upset, because both sides! do it, and Clinton and Obama were much more corrupt. trump’s corruption is nothing compared to theirs. They see the economy is booming and attribute it to trump. They think he’s standing up for America now and we’re not being pushed around.

“The President of the United States cannot obstruct Justice.” Let that sink in. Welcome to the junta!

And for you casual readers or wavering Team Trump Treason supporters who still haven’t given up or only have one faux source of information, Team Trump Treason’s attorneys are trying to make that legal, constitutional argument. By vested constitutional authority he’s above the law. Let that sink in. Or, please, try to defend it, suckers.
    how very Nixonian.

I see so much of this online. people on twitter with a comment in their bio saying something like "lives for triggering libs". Like, seriously, they don't give a flying fuck how the country is circling the drain, all they care about is how much of a rise they can get out of the left.

seriously, I have honestly no recollection of seeing anything simliar from liberals on social media.

My summary is the best sense I can make of it and why I’m thankful for the internet. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to move ahead in trying to figure out what’s going on. This is from people I know and have some association with, as well as random people online. Most of the people I’m describing are educated and can think rationally, but there’s a point when talking about trump that the rationality shuts off. They’ll just refuse basic facts or what’s happening right in front of them.

It's this weird team mentality that they have been very successful in implementing.  I never would have guessed that the lower class would tilt so heavily toward the republican party.  This was a strategy just like the Southern Strategy....a calculated move to fool people.

It's especially bizarre that the lower class would still be turning to the uber-rich ruling class that is the cause of all their woes for a solution to all their woes.

Trump disinvites Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles from planned White House visit on Tuesday, citing national anthem dispute

I think what I'm most disturbed by is what he plans on doing instead... Sounds like he's going to have a good old fashioned fucking Trump rally right on the White House lawn.

Not one Eagle kneeled during the anthem last year. Not one.

He just caught wind that that a lot of the team wasn’t going to attend to be his political props. Fuck this guy. He’s never going to let this stupid fucking anthem controversy end.

Next up, only blue eyed and blonde haired guests will be allowed to visit the "White" House.
    lol
