great energy and game... man that save by Holtby, within the last two mins,  was amazing.

Eller, Connolly, and Burakovsky are very impressive together.

Man seeing Ovy nervous on the bench was funny...

incredible save. literally half an inch either way and the puck rattles off the shaft and goes in.  just got it perfectly squarely.  amazing.  my prediction: the team that wins the 1st overtime game is the team that is going to win this series.  Crazy there hasn't been an overtime in either conference final or the two Cup games.  It is overdue.

That save by Holtby at the end was... WOW!!  I thought for sure Vegas had tied it up, as did everyone in the stadium it seemed, and everyone in the bar.

What a great series so far.  I hope it goes 7 and every game is like these first two!

It was nice to see a cross check actually called on Vegas last night....and they paid for it.  That missed penalty on Reaves in Game 1 was absurd.

interesting how it's ok, even celebrated, to yell something during the national anthem in the US during hockey games.

wonder why republicans have no issue with that..... :smirk:

I can think of a few ones from the past.  It always annoyed me.

That 1 season that people went to Carolina Hurricanes games, they would yell "RED!"

And I remember as far back as the late 90s, the Dallas Crowd would yell "STARS!" when those parts came up.

Rangers fans yell "let's go Rangers!" during the anthem. It's a drinking song, goddamn it! And we're taking it back.

Save your nationalism for stupid jingoistic parades on Long Island. We're here in the world's most famous arena to drink beer and watch our hockey team suck!

I have been to a handful of Caps games and I'm pretty sure they yell "O" the same way as it's yelled at Orioles games.  The fan bases crossed over for years.

Tuch should have elevated it yes... But that wasn't luck, that was skill and strength by one of the best netminders in the league.

Great goalies have great luck.  Preparation + opportunity (Lombardi).

Puck luck differs from that sort of save.  That was a great reaction and save.

1/4 to 1/2 inch either way it hits off the stick and goes in. great play to be in that position, but luck that it hit the shaft perfectly squarely and just died there.

But you have to have the skill to even make the play in the first place.  To have the awareness, timing, and athleticism to put the stick in the perfect position to make the play has nothing to do with luck.  Luck would be tossing the stick and hoping for the best.
