That's the thing right? If anyone in this lineup, outside a couple of guys, actually start hitting then I might buy in.

Again, the month of June - it's huge. That'll actually tell me something about this team that's meaningful.
    especially Rhys started out hot...

    Oh, Lenny...

That's so funny because I was going to comment the EXACT SAME THING VERBATIM. Just "Oh, Lenny..." Right down to having the "..." at the end of it.

That’s pretty funny. I can’t wait till the Lenny Dykstra bio pic comes out

Phillies are 18-7 at home, best home record in their first 25 games since 2001.

I feel like Rhys swung the bat pretty well last night. Hit a few hard. Was a little more aggressive with swinging earlier in the count. Maybe that little single helps him get going?

So a split and a win in these first two series of this brutal stretch....

Very nice start to this stretch.   10 game road trip starting next week is going to be brutal.  Arrieta has been really good. Looking like a nice signing.

Everything until July 1 is brutal.

How bout Dominguez though? I love the way they're using him in critical situations. 3 up and 3 down in the 8th with just 6 pitches. What a monster.

Come on, man. Just enjoy the games in the moment. You don't need to buy-in or not buy-in. You sound like The Fixer (the guys that posts in this thread...not the song...though I'm not sure which one is worse).

foul tip smacked him right in the face. he went down immediately.  seems like now he just has a cut on the lip. seeing it live would have thought some teeth were lost.

Wow. Didn't see it last night but with the way he's swinging the bat that sounds about right. hahaha. Why is our defense so bad?

well Kingery and Hoskins  haven't played their natural position more than a few times. Santana has had his moments and Hernandez misplayed a fly ball last night although just caught the end of that play so not sure what happened on it.   they miss Crawford's glove for sure.

offense is struggling big time.  Their defense isn't too great either.  Hopefully Seranthony is their new closer, everytime Neris pitches you never know if he'll be off his game or not.

This team is so Fucking boring
most teams that can't hit are boring.

Arrieta kind of tore Kapler a new one after the game on the shifts.

remember a few weeks ago when Juggler said I can't call a guy who was hitting .350 annoying? the Juggler jink in play as Herrera's average has plummeted since then.

also fun to remember when Phils fans and people here used to think it was easy to hit 40 home runs a season and drive in 110 runs.
