A good one tonight. Bday dinner. Lamb chops with gnocchi with butter sage sauce and arugula salad. Also, a bottle of Sangiovese that was given to us at a lovely restaurant in Siena, Italy last year as a birthday gift

Some good eatins round here folks, keep up the good work!

Planted 58 peppers, 42 tomatoes, 24 summer squash, 15 cabbage and 20 butternut squash today, so that will be a couple hundred pounds of very high quality food in a few months, can't wait!
Spring crops didn't go in at all this year so I have to wait until fall (and keep my fingers crossed) for peas, broccoli, beets, and spinach.

    Nice crop planted.

    T bones and potatoes.
    Broccoli
     Bok choy
Ravioli w/the rest of the sauce made for the pizzas yesterday
    Salad

Many beers.  Feel like I'm going to have a baby.

I just loaded two chips with 'The Last Dab' scorpion sauce.  Holy shitballs, I could not eat an entire wing doused in that stuff.

Yeah?! Did it taste good outside of the heat? Or all just heat?

Look what arrived in th mail today.

Aardvark is the shit! It’s like a better version of Mexican restaurant hot sauce.
I’m not as big on the Scorpion Last Dab as the Pepper X & Reaper editions but it’s still pretty cool.

It tasted pretty good but it fucking hurts the tongue after a minute
Not nearly as bad as I expected...but I learned with the ghost chili experience not to keep taking it until I couldn't.... Because it burned my ass on the way out

So big weekend in south Philly with the Italian market festival. This neighborhood (s) is the best.

over the past 36 hours I have had

    vietnamese - pho
indian - vindaloo cooked at home
mexican - corn on the cob and a variety of legit tacos
Cambodian - beef and chicken skewers
Italian - hot sausage and peppers sandwich

and I may or may not have a cheesesteak to top it all off.

i swear I am not morbidly obese

    If not, then you failed.

I recommend giving them a try sometime. I'm not a big "seafood" eater but I highly enjoy crawfish, especially in gumbo.

Interesting, I just smoked some hash over the weekend. If brisket was involved, I can't recall.

I've just never seen them on any menu, or in any grocery store! But I just googled - there is a Louisiana seafood restaurant in the city. Maybe I'll give it a shot.
