    I've never seen Donnie Darko.

Since Eddie's buddy directed it, anyone plan on seeing Aloha? I heard Sony personnel didn't like it through those hacked emails but I can't avoid a movie starring my top 2 actress crushes, McAdams and Stone, no matter how bad it will be. *cough*Passion,Time Traveler's,Vow*cough* Brad's a lucky dude.

I'm actually looking forward to Love and Mercy. I'm a sucker for music biopics and it's nice to see Cusack in a role that isn't for the paycheck for once. I might see Ex Machina if it's still playing near me this weekend. I'm considering waiting until Redbox or Starz for Tomorrowland since it has mixed reviews.

Cameron Crowe's new movie, Aloha, isn't getting the greatest reviews ... but it is still ahead of The Human Centipede III in critical review aggregate scores... so it's got that going for it.

I can't believe it's getting worse reviews than Elizabethtown. At least this cast is decent whereas Elizabethtown had hacks like Bloom and Biel ffs. Were it not for the two female leads, I'd skip and wait for Redbox.

edit/update: Just saw the first 8 minutes on Moviefone. Crowe is so depressingly desperate to remake Jerry Maguire right down to the voice over by Cooper and the trademark classic rock he loves with I Can See For Miles in the opening. One review said it best about how he's like a band you used to love in high school but is no good now.

Cameron Crowe would be like Live or Everclear in my case.

i think every movie ever made is ahead of The Human Centipede III in Metacritic reviews. It has a 1.

Anyone hear of that hype heavy Kung Fury that's on Youtube? I'm considering watching it after I'm done with my HBO/Netflix/Crackle movies that expire at month's end.

    http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/

I use this website every Sunday afternoon (when all the tallies are done).
    It shows the movie profits.
Click on Jurassic World or any movie and it shows domestic and foreign sales.
So far Jurassic world has $1,084,500,000 worldwide.

Had my doubts about the new Ghostbusters movie. Previews looked pretty bad but the critics are giving it not too bad of a reviews and some friends already saw it and they liked it. we'll see.

I like most of what Feig has done. At least it ain't directed by McCarthy's husband like Boss and Tammy.

Speaking of Feig, I recommend binge watching the Feig produced show on Yahoo, Other Space. Joel froM MST3K is on it as well. Funny show.

Love the early 90s TriStar logo throwback which is fitting that other T2 was distributed by them through Carolco.

"Boyhood" This is getting great reviews, 99 on metacritic and 100% on rotten tomatoes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys-mbHXyWX4
I know this is a 3 year old post, but FWIW, I thought this movie kinda sucked because nothing much happens. Highly overrated IMO.

The Avatar sequels are beginning production on a $1B budget.  I don't feel anyone was asking for these.  The first one relied on the 3D gimmick and everyone went to see it, but that fad has passed.  But it is James Cameron.  Just wish he picked a different idea instead of four sequels about alien green peace hippies.

What an absolutely insane waste of money.
You're right, the technology at the time was the main attraction... of course, that is now hum drum, standard effects. Also, the story was a complete rip off of Dances with Wolves - what ever happened to that copyright infringement case btw??
Well..... maybe the sequel will be better than the "original". I will be surprised if they actually make $1B from the sales, but you never know. Obviously they have some reason to think that's smart budgeting. Hopefully they haven't underestimated the decline of admiration for the first one since it came out.
