I
was honored to be asked to perform at the MusiCares fundraiser for
musicians health and wellness, and what an amazing group of musicians
showed up (see photos)! I got to play with my old bandmates Duff McKagan
and Mike McCready, along with Mudhoney’s Mark Arm as we blasted out
some Stooges tunes. Also did a beautiful rendition of River Of Deceit
with the immensely talented singer Star Anna. I rarely play “the rock”
anymore, as I spend so much time in the studio producing and recording
solo albums, but this was a great time indeed!

On Saturday, May 10th the MusiCares Concert for Recovery honored Mike with the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for Mike’s commitment to helping others in the addiction recovery process.
The celebration, which took place at the Showbox in Seattle, included
performances from Duff McKagan, Nancy Wilson, Chad Smith, Mark Arm,
Mike Ness, and more.
Ticket revenue and items auctioned off during the event raised $450K for MusiCares.
You can help musicians in times of financial and medical crisis by donating to MusiCares in Mike’s name.
