Canadian EB Awareness Story

outside of Pearl Jam and the Vitalogy Foundation, little attention has been bestowed upon children with this rare affliction. Canadian Sports Network TSN will be airing a story on Jonathan Pitre tomorrow night. The 14 year old suffers from the constant pain of EB. His battle and love of his favorite NHL team, the Ottawa Senators will be profiled. I'm sure Eddie, who is heavily involved in the US to raise awareness, as well as the rest of the Boys in PJ and their fans would be interested. Follow this link for a teaser:

I'm sure if Jonathan knew what the Vitalogy Foundation was doing he would be as big a PJ fan as a Senators fan :)

    The minute and a half teaser actually brought tears to my eyes. Not sure if I will get through the entire story.

    dude(?), I just watched a 6 hour PBS thing on cancer and it is heartbreaking to see sick kids. So not fair....to them or their poor parents.

    Both of those help restore my faith in humanity. That is one bright and tough kid. He will succeed in life, that I have no doubt.

    This kid was an inspiration for our nation.  I certainly hope he and his cause will not be forgotten.
