This is pretty scary. Gary Cohen was one of the few competent human beings who worked in the Oval Office. You can disagree with him on policy but he was a normal, functioning, rational human being. There are not many of them who work in the White House. Now he is leaving. And there are lots of reports that McMaster, one of the few other rational human beings there, is on his way out in the coming weeks or months.
I'm legit scared. Our country is run by incompetent boobs. Sooner or later a life or death crisis will come around....

If Stormy & Cohen/tRump had an unsigned agreement that reflects same, then maybe the check was for a blowjob. But that's not what the unsigned agreement that actually exists says.
For example, if one of our insureds got in a minor rear-end accident with no injuries : we might send the other driver a check for $500 with an agreement that says "you can't sue us for bodily injury". Once they sign & cash that check, they can't pursue additional money for bodily injury - even though there was no contract signed other than the check that was cashed.
It's wonky, but it holds up.
