RITFW on night 2 at Fenway was probably the happiest I've ever seen the band onstage.
was ed having a catch during that song?
I think so. Mike handed his guitar off to Matt's son and joined Matt on drums. He may have even taken Jeff's bass at one point. It's not my favorite cover they play but that night it was awesome!

I hear ya.  At Wrigley 2016 when they played Last Exit and Blood, I almost fell asleep... if it weren’t for my jumping around and singing (basically the whole damn show), I would have been snoozing.  :get_outta_here:

Wonder if they’re gonna have rockers on the field instead of seats???  Can we bring afghans to Wrigley if it gets too cold in the middle of August??  Plus I hope they let people in with knitting instruments, because it was bullshit that they stopped my wife at the metal detector last time...

I went to both Fenway and both Wrigley shows in 2016.  The Fenway shows were better.  You have to really be looking hard to find issues with them.

As a youtube/periscope viewer i enjoyed the Fenway shows way more than Wrigley so man Wrigley must’ve been like a medieval history lecture to the OP.

I went to both fenway shows after seeing five arena shows earlier in 2016.  I had more fun at fenway- there, I said it.

Sound was a little better in the arenas, but that's obvious since there is a roof.

    Kinda, yes, yes, no.

I love both ballparks.  And admittedly, some why I preferred Fenway may cause others to prefer Wrigley.  I like the street that was closed off just like at Sox games.  The vicinity of the park was actually fairly calm, which I did not appreciate until I arrived in Wrigleyville two weeks later.  Wrigleyville was a zoo and my guess is that it was because it's Wrigleyville!  Probably a lot of friends, etc. there not going to the show.  This is obviously a generalization, but at Fenway, the vibe I got was "we're here for a concert" while at Wrigley it was a bit closer to "we're here to drink."  Part of it was that the timing of the curfew's caused the Wrigley start time to be an hour later, which I did not know about, so at the first show that got frustrating.  We also had jackasses run up and crowd us in our aisle seats at Wrigley 2...though that's a function of the seats we happened to get.

Song selection was solid at both places, slight advantage to Boston.  But if they were flat for any show it was Wrigley 1, which is most evidenced in Amongst the Waves (which was a big first-time score for me, but was kinda blah).

Maybe it was even a bit of Fenway being my first time seeing them in nearly two years.  At Wrigley, hearing Mind Your Manners for the 4th time is less exciting.  So I suppose I'd listen to arguments that Wrigley was just as good, but my experience at Fenway was better.

Hey thanks to the guy on the corner who I stopped for and gave a ride to today.  You smelled like shit but I felt bad for you and my act of kindness which included cracking open 2 canned Guinness’s and drinking them with you made my day
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

Any kind of rock hard candy you want to bring, so someone breaks a tooth...  just like grandma used to have!!
Can you bring extra tissues, or better yet some handkerchiefs for the sad slow songs and dedications...

Be careful in the GA pit.  Mike likes to throw out picks and someone can get hit in the eye... his momma must have never taught him manners.  He should personally hand them out directly during Ed’s discussions instead of tossing them up for grabs.
Does anyone know if they have adult changing stations in the restrooms???   And how hard is it to get from the rail to the restroom with my overactive bladder???  Be careful, because you might not be stepping in spilled beer...
