Longest Gap Between PJ Shows

bigdeathbigdeath Chicago Posts: 80
I am ashamed to admit I had a 20 year 347 day gap (maybe more as I forgot to count leap years) in between Pearl Jam shows 1 and 2.

8/7/92- Mansfield, MA (Lollapalooza)
7/19/13- Chicago, IL (Wrigley Field)

Happy to say I came to my senses. Will be attending shows 5-8 this summer. I’ve got some catching up to do.

This makes me feel better about my 5.5-ish year gap between October 2004 and May 2010, haha.
Enjoy the shows! Sounds like you are more than making up for lost time!

I went without from April of 1994 to June of 2008 largely because I'm an idiot.

May 06 to April 18. So, like 11 years and 11 months? Would have been from July of 03, but a buddy had an extra ticket to the show in 06, and offered it to me at a pretty good discount (I didn't have much money at the time).

It took me until 2003 to experience them live. Since then, I've been hooked and it hasn't been longer than a three-year gap (and that was excruciating!) (2010-2013)

Either low cash flow or something always got in the way. Have seen them 20 times since the first Wrigley show and can't believe I missed out on all those great years.

Only previous show I've seen was April '92 in Dallas, senior in HS.  Now 44, I'll see them again in Missoula this summer. So 26 years and 4 months will be the gap.  Not proud of that.

I saw them at lolla '92 but my first real show was missoula '98, so just under 6 years.  Since Missoula 98... Probably Gorge '06 to Seattle '09.  3 year+ gap.

Before that it had been 2006, so a gap of 4 years. I never had enough resources and wherewithal to plan a trip to go and see them outside Ireland.

I don't have any large gaps over 6 years, but where I went wrong was only seeing them in my home state for so long and only once per tour.
Things that I am also fixing in 2018... :)

I saw them in 92, 95 and 98.  Then we started our family so I missed out until Wrigley 2013.  No regrets!  There’s a time for everything!
