after barely a political peep at 2016 Wrigley, I think the days of overtly political PJ are over. Was a good run while it lasted!

Meh.... We get enough of that shoved down our throats every day from everywhere.  How about just some good rocking PJ music and a good time to get away from it all for a few hours. Political stuff will still be there after the last note is played.

I'm all for busting out some of the political stuff this year, particularly songs that have been gathering dust. In all honesty I would rather that than hearing Ed rant about this stuff. And this is coming from someone who agrees with probably 90% of the political things he has said over the years.

Ugh....think I'm getting "political fatigue" from the daily, constant, bombardment. A few hours of rock-n-roll escape would be nice.....

I'm good with whatever Ed decides to play for me and thousands of my friends in Missoula.  If people want to make Fortunate Son, Insignificance, Grievance, Another Brick in the Wall, or whatever other song is uncomfortable for them to experience, they should look on the bright side....the merch lines should be short at that point.
If you're not prepared to hear Eddie's opinions on stage, that's on you because you know they are more likely than not to happen (especially at a show like Missoula).  All 27+ years of this band have been filled with lyrics, speeches, and activism that should give you a good predictor of what stances may be delivered verbally on stage.

Play rock & roll.  I go to escape all that stuff. Would rather it be kept to a minimum but I don’t expect that it will be.
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

There’s so many people making statements in all forms of life, sports, and entertainment that its becoming weird not to hear anything political.  I just like when bands play the tunes tho.  Even when i agree with their views.

Not going to any shows tho so i really dont care

Masters of War in 2016 Wrigley was one of the best performances I've seen. 1/2 full would be great this year. And let's crank up an angry Leash in Wrigley!

I'd be surprised if a few political songs don't end up on the next album, whenever that may be.

YES!  Gimme SomeTruth is a fave, Glorified G also timely!  It’s the passion and depth behind the music and lyrics that inspire me most and why I really love their music.  Whatever moves them to continue to create and tour makes me happy.
