I think it's crazy that people got 10C tickets but then felt the need to get TM seats too incase they were better....

I think and maybe I am wrong...that maybe reading some of the posts about seats being way far back for high in numbers have some people scared. I personally have never been to a seated concert. I have always been in the standing areas..i love the vibe the interaction and being able to actually see the band up close.  I won reserved for the only show i can attend and I'm trying to go with just being happy to be in the building. It will be a totally new experience for me all the way around. So I'm a little nervous but trusting what GOOD things I've read from other 10 club fans. Still looking myself for 2 more as my older kids now want to go and could only get 2 thru the club

Me, too. I've seen quite a bit of that going on this week. The greed is rampant.

They are a small operation, have to take like 10,000 orders per show and distribute them in order of seniority, its a different operation than Ticketmaster or Tickets.com.

Basically for the lottery they know how many tickets they have available and allocate those by drawing.

It then takes them some time to attribute the individual tickets to individual members. This year they say we should know in July. Usually you don't know till you pick up your tix at will call day of show, so there's an improvement.

I bet it's not even 1000 per show.

I will gladly take that bet.

In the past its been about 10% which would be between 3500-400 for one of these stadium shows, but this year they got a much higher allotment.

    Where did you hear 10%?
I would have thought that 10C would have a ton of seats also, but maybe not.
According to my "Boston Shows Membership Numbers" post, there are only 180 pair of tickets for the first show.
I'm sure a ton of people don't post on the boards (which I also included Facebook) but that like ten times the amount in my post.
It very well be way more than 1000 but it seems like it's not even close to 3500.

It very well be way more than 1000 but it seems like it's not even close to 3500.

Its a well known fact that Live Nation/Ticketmaster normally allots 10% of tix to fan clubs.

    There have been instances where 10 club got more back in the day (I think it was MSG 2 2003 if I recall where there were like 8,000 fan club members in attendance.}

So for these stadium shows the last few years they would have had roughly 4,000 tix if that rule applied. Fenway and Wrigley are both on Tickets.com so 10club may have gotten more in 2013 and 2016, we don't know. I can tell you when I picked up my tix for Fenway in 2016, there were way more than 1,000 envelopes to be distributed. They had the 10c ticket distribution set up outside on tables behind Fenway, and if you read the thread you keep linking in the other thread showing folks 2016 seat locations you'll see me post about the amount of envelopes they had.

So for argument's sake lets say they had 4,000 seats for each Fenway show in 2016.

Lottery odds finished at 44% and 47% for those shows, and that was after an arena tour that hit Philly, NYC and other areas in travelling distance to Boston that have no shows this year.

This year when Fenway are the only shows that are in the eastern time zone, the lottery finished at 77% and 99%. Do you really think that equals less than 1,000 orders?

Especially when 10c stated they got "More tickets for fan club members than ever before"?

Basing your math on who posts in that thread is silly. You see what the list of numbers for 2016 was right...30 posts with numbers and seat locations. Yet a huge disparity in seating locations. You think the 30 is an accurate gauge of how many folks got 10c tix?

    This weekend we rock Portland

I waited for the verified sale, my 10c tickets were usually in the 100 section at Wrigley- I was pushed into the 200’s with the tm sale.  But I got 4 tickets together :)
