Ugh. Didn’t work out for me at all. No tickets. Tried. Oh well maybe something will work out closer to the day.

I got reserved for Seattle 8/8 and GA pit for Seattle 8/10 through 10c. Then today bought 2 more for Seattle 8/8 sec 114 through verified fam tm for a friend and his wife. System worked perfectly for me.
  • I got tickets for both shows in Fenway through the drawing. When do you find out where your seats are?

I thought so...just wondering how other peeps knew their seats....ticketmaster?
Btw the Ticketmaster presale was a joke. I got selected for the presale, went in on time, with my code intending to buy tix for friends who missed the cut off or were wait listed....nothing. No tickets available for Fenway 1 anywhere by 10:15am. Can't imagine what they plan on selling to the general public :o

I feel so bad for those that came up empty handed.  Dont be discouraged tho -- people from this community ALWAYS end up coming through close to show time.  I may be one of those people.  I have had to get rid of a ticket before and i have had to try and grab one before and both have worked out on the day of the show.  GREAT community of music people.  Love it.

Fenway pre-sale was a joke...had a code for each night and every ticket selection came up with either limited or restricted view.  Did end up scoring FC tickets to each show but was hoping to get some extras to compare.  Guess all the really good tickets ended up going to either FC or Sawx season ticket holders...

I think the obstructed view was a red herring.

my friends scored seats in section 162 and those seats look fine although they were sold as ubstructed.

best thing I could think of is because you don't have a complete view of Matt. everything else according to the pics I have seen are awesome seats. I could be wrong of course. I have never been to Fenway before.

I have been to Fenway dozens of times and the obstructed view is a legit thing. You can literally have a seat with a pole in front of your face in the grandstands. Also, I was at the second show in 2016, and sat in a lower box on the infield (behind the Red Sox dugout). These seats were pretty good but I wouldn't want to be up in the grandstand obstructed or not.

I think they list seats as obstructed as well if you have a sound/light tower in your way.  Here is an example of light tower at Wrigley.  If that is in your sightline they will list seats as obstructed..

    In Between - Chicago (9), East Troy (4) Champaign (1), Noblesville (1), Moline (1)
    Last - Wrigley (August 20, 2016)
  • Got two nose bleeds for Seattle 1, thanks ticketmaster...

Coming from Vancouver Island and I'll need a hotel for two nights,  any recommendations? Not looking to break the bank here, hopefully.
  • I feel like I'm missing something.  I got an email from the tenclub saying they charged my card for 2 tickets and that I won.  Then I got an email from Ticketmaster yesterday saying I'm on the waitlist.  I only put in for 1 show.  Do I have tickets or don't I?

The TM pre-sale was a completely different thing than the 10C one, if 10C says you have tix then you're good

You won the fanclub drawing and it's a pair of tickets. About ticketmaster I'm not sure what this email is about.. maybe waitlisted for the presale? Idk
  • Thanks - that's what I thought but the Waitlist email has me confused.... I need to check my credit card transactions to confirm.

Not sure if this is the right post for this so sorry in advance. I see alot if people looking for extra tickets myself included. Is there a specific thread to be used for those requests? Or what is the politically correct way to do that within the club? Just trying to do things the right way. :) thank you.

Look thru the Given To Fly (live) forum and see if anyone there is offering up the tickets you are looking for.
If you don't see a match...
feel free to start a thread there with your ISO!!

Right place at the right time. Long story short... I had several friends (not mentioning names) in different "Seattle" bands around that time, including Mookie, Sweetwater, Tad, Screaming Trees, ect..  One cold Seattle December night in 1990, I went to see Layne and AIC play at the Moore Theater and Mookie opened up. And here we are 28 years later, still Pearl Jammimg out!!!  =)

They did before the show but I am not a drinker and did not notice if they did during.
